We reserved this cruise because we wanted to see Alaska, as well as the diverse life that Alaska and its surrounding waters has to offer. We were not disappointed. We booked a cruise tour, which was comprised of a 7 day cruise followed by a six day land tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard Radiance of the Seas. The ship was clean, well kept, had excellent staff, excellent entertainment, and a wonderful itinerary.

Ship was quite nice. Enjoyed the lobby. Loved the Solarium. Elevators gave a nice view of the ship. Embarking was easy. Disembarking was easy. Little bit of a hoop to jump through with luggage getting dropped off at a different location from where the train drops you off.

We only had a few days of holidays left and decided to take a short (1 week) cruise to Alaska. We've cruised on the Explorer before (24 night repositioning cruise from Sydney to Seattle), and have enjoyed it. I chose this cruise because I got a really good buy online. It was booked a year ago for $639 for an inside cabin with a $50 cabin voucher. A nice ship. The colors in the Centum (the lobby if you will) worked very well.
I have a couple of small complaints: Signage not very good. Coming off an elevator at our floor still taking the wrong corridor to our cabin after a week.

We chose this ship based on the Ports of Call and sail dates as we were coordinating the cruise with a conference in Anchorage. Overall, the ship design and lay-out was very good. We had a party of 8 and we had a blast. We stayed two nights in Vancouver
It was great.
Boarding was little rough but not bad.
The sail away was was just great as the sun finally came out after two days of on and off showers.
We had the best staff. The MDR started slow but was running on all cylinders by the second night.
