This Alaska cruise was part of a package with a travel agent who set up a geocaching tour of Alaska, so I did not have a choice of the time or ship. My family had a great time on the ship. We enjoyed a great day in Seattle before the cruise including the Boeing Factory Tour, Pikes Place Market and the Space Needle. Uber is a great way to get around town and to the port. The port is chaotic and clearly not equipped to handle the big ships. Allow extra time for transportation, boarding and catching a flight home - and brace yourself for rude port workers. My husband and I went to Alaska on the Coral Princess in June of 2010. We decided to cone back and take extended family with us. We had 3 rooms - 2 mini suites and an indoor cabin across. The cabins were well appointed and slightly roomier than Princess. We really liked the balconies - they are somewhat enclosed relative to Celebrity or Princess and so were more comfortable to be out on.

The Radiance is a comfortable ship, it is smaller than I am use to. The entertainment was good; there were 2 acts that were excellent, David Meyer and the Alley Cats, if you have the chance to see them on your cruise you should.
