1-10 of 1,403 Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas Cruise Reviews for Gay & Lesbian Cruises to the Southern Caribbean
Staff, service food and entertainment were exceptional. Hit some very windy days and one rainy day that limited poolside activities. This was my second time aboard the Adventurer and I forgot how confining the balcony was. The major negative of our trip was the condition of the ship and maintenance. Rugs, chairs and sofas were not the cleanest and resembled the coat on a Dalmatian. Windows were ...
We chose it because of Port and destinations. The ship is old and it shows all over. The MDR staff was excellent but tablecloths were stained and you could see black marks on the table through them. After the first night our table was exchanged for another one. Casino staff must have been in training. Windjammer staff was terrible! Entertainment was a bright spot!
The Islands were awesome and ...
We chose this cruise for it's itinerary. The days at sea combined with Aruba, Curacao and Bonaire was very appealing. We had not been on Royal Caribbean in quite a few years and wanted to give it another try.
We were satisfied with the cruise but nothing was so good that we would plan on returning to Royal Caribbean. The ship felt so small. The public spaces were always crowded and we had ...
We sail early January each year for our wedding anniversary. Best gift is time together and throw in warm weather--my idea of Heaven.
Embarkation was quick and easy. We were on ship by 11am. Adventure was what we expected..very clean and sparkling. Signage was good. We quickly made our way to the Windjammer buffet. Food was ok. Crew were extremely personable and helpful.
Our inside ...
I had sailed on the Adventure of the Seas previously and enjoyed the ship and it’s crew, so I booked back to back cruises (Dec. 7 and 15). The ship is still structurally a wonderful vessel, but the crew, service and food leave a lot to be desired.
The my time dining room is set up with too many tables. Cramming diners into the space provides challenges for the diners. I was bumped repeatedly ...
This was a family cruise set in motion by my 86 year old dad, who wanted to cross visiting Aruba off of his bucket list. There were 8 of us altogether; my wife and I, my dad, my brother, my cousin and his wife and a second cousin and his girlfriend.
We boarded the Adventure of the Seas at Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. Embarkation was smooth, and we were on board the ship in less than an ...
I just got off the adventures of the seas and it was one of the most wonderful trips I’ve had. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Some people are just negative Nancy’s. I was in a spacious balcony cabin on deck eight and there was so much space for storage my niece and I actually had an empty cabinet and barely I have a side of the closet full. The bathroom was a typical cruise bathroom but it ...
My husband, our two sons (ages 8 and 10 years old), his aunt, two friends of mine and I all went on the Adventure of the Seas from December 7-15, 2019. We had been on several Royal ships before and our favourite one was the Allure. We chose to ‘downsize’ to the Adventure to allow us to visit the ABC islands. First off, we cannot say enough great things about the islands – they are by far our ...
My friend and I chose this repositioning cruise because of the great itinerary and even better price.
Embarkation was relatively quick and straightforward; complicated only by unprofessional and unpleasant power-mad ground staff in the holding area.
Once onboard, we soon had a drink in hand and were exploring the ship (second time on this ship for me). The ship is elegant, clean and well set ...
This was a 12 day southern repositioning cruise that I really didn’t have high expectations for because I knew it was a smaller and older ship. But let me tell you Royal Caribbean really makes sure to keep the old looking new. The food was great and the buffet had a different theme of food every night, so there was always food for everyone’s taste. The staff was the best I have encountered on all ...
