A fabulous cruise on a fabulous ship

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We have just returned from a two week cruise to the Med on Adventure of the Seas. The ship accomodates 3800 guests when full (which it was) and 1200 staff. Obviously with that number of guests, there were a lot of under 18s, which makes this ship better for families than retired folk, but it is still good for both. The food and service was superb throughout the ship, and the facilities matched. ...

Day 1 Really smoothly, parked car in carpark and van came along and took our luggage to the ship. We took our hand luggage and suit carriers on board. This was not a problem, other than the fact we decided to tour the entire ship and had to carry it around with us, so the least amount of hand luggage you can take the better. We got into our cabin by 2pm and I was unpacked and back on deck by the ...

This was our first cruise and we were excited and apprehensive. Travelling as a family with two daughters aged 16 and 18. We booked late, only 5 weeks before departure, and had the 'guarantee' rooms. Were a bit worried that two rooms would be on different decks etc, but Travel agent 'linked' bookings and we were side by side. Had two rooms right at the front of the ship on Deck 7, ...

This is one of the best solo cruises I have been on. Previously I tried the IOS and the Naviagation OTS. But this cruise was exceptional. The company was suberb as was the care and attention of all the staff onboard the ship. Although the ship is older than what I've been on before, it was very clean, the food was great as was the entertainment. The excursions were also enjoyable and well ...

Booked our cruise through cruise 118 - very efficient service. Flight with Easyjet was good - and check in at port was speedy on board the ship by 11am, couldnt check in to rooms until 1pm. We travelled in a party of 8 and noticed when we received our sea pass that we had been split up for our evening meal. We went into the dining room and asked if we could all be sat together - as there was ...

All in all we were completely satisfied with our cruise on the Adventure if the Seas. Despite the ship being 10 years old she is in perfect condition and wouldn't hesitate to sail on her again! The ship is so big that a week isn't long enough to do and see everything. We would have liked to have seen a show but we just didn't have time. the ices show was amazing though - just a good if not even ...

Travelling with my Mum. After an Easy Jet flight into Malaga and a great overnight stay at the Barcelo hotel we opened the blinds on Saturday morning to see our ship in Dock. We left the hotel at 12.00 and took a taxi to the ship. A bit chaotic around the baggage drop, but once that was done we took a stroll over to the large modern cruise terminal where we were checked in. We took ...

Just back from a week long cruise on Adventure of the seas 3rd to 10th July, my husband and I took the two golden girls, our mothers in their mid 70's and our two younger! girls age 23 and 18, but this was an ideal holiday for this mix of ages as we found there was something for everyone to enjoy. Embarkation however was not good and seemed a bit chaotic, we were all tired having driven down to ...

I am typing this from my Barceloana hotel room after leaving the ship this morning. Initial thoughts after reading other reviews is that if you have reasonable expectations you will have a good time. Ugly- friends flew in via British Airways and their luggage didn't arrive until Pisa. Customer service was less than helpful until she filed a claim for delayed luggage, then it got better and ...
