Smaller Ship but Packed with High Energy and Fun

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary -- Coco Cay, Tortola & St. Croix. We had never been to those Virgin Islands and we love the Halloween cruises. The cruise director, the activities director and all of the activities staff kept this ship alive and full of fun. The Canadian Captain was very experienced and had a wonderful sense of humor. All the staff were friendly and upbeat. The ...

Very nice cruise .The evening dining was extremely well done . Our service providers were Victor and Prosper and they were Excellent .The food was well prepared and delicious. Having the choice of sit down breakfast and lunch or the buffet was awesome. Our cabin was larger then I anticipated .I really took advantage of having a balcony. I enjoyed sitting out there on the warm evenings and warm ...

Amazing time on Adventure of the Seas

It was originally scheduled as a 7 night Eastern Caribbean to St Croix, Tortola and Coco Cay RT from Ft Lauderdale. Because of the hurricane the Adventure of the Seas was re-deployed from Ft Lauderdale to Roatan, Honduras, Cozumel, Mexico and Perfect Day Coco Cay, Bahamas. I cannot say enough good about Global Airport Parking, we've been using them for all 4 main Florida ports and they all have ...

Background, wife and I are longtime cruiser almost exclusively with Royal Caribbean. We are a young (60) year old couple that enjoy life to its fullest and were celebrating our (40) year wedding anniversary. Like most, we were a bit reserved about cruising during the pandemic. However, we are both vaccinated and healthy. A specific reason we chose this cruise was the requirement that all guest ...

Now is the time to cruise....

We chose this cruise for a few reasons. The first and most important that really hooked us was 2 major things, A voyager class ship that has been amped and has tons to do and 2 days at Coco Cay. That was huge. The ship sailed with 1100 passengers roughly. This was one of the best cruises we have been on primarily for that reason. NO LINES! It felt like the ship was ours. I never did Flowrider ...

Finally back cruising!

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

We caught the cruise bug after a 32 year hiatus (it's called putting kids thru school!) and after 2 wonderful cruises on the Vista 2018 and Symphony 2019 we couldnt wait to get back. The AOS out of Nassau allowed us the first cruise back. We were the 6th time out, and the staff told us that several things that weren't allowed were starting to be added back, such as the dance party on pool deck in ...

Post-Covid Cruising out of Nassau

My wife and I are regular cruisers on Royal Caribbean, so while I am not normally the type to write reviews, it would seem helpful to add insight to the relatively new experience of post-Covid cruising out of the Bahamas by writing about our July 2021 cruise. In that regard, this review will be primarily comparative to pre-Covid Cruising. In summary, the experience is 90% still there and a ...

This was Royal Caribbean’s grand return to cruising on the first voyage of the Adventure of the Seas from Nassau, Bahamas. After a 15-month pandemic pause, this was the first North American voyage for Royal Caribbean. It’s time to cruise the Bahamas and the Caribbean again! This cruise includes two perfect days at CocoCay, a stop in Cozumel, and a stop in Freeport. Sat Nassau Depart 9:00 ...

Amazing first time cruise for my daughter!

This was my 10 year old's first cruise, and it was amazing for her! I have been on multiple cruise lines, but have always enjoyed RCL most of all. The ship, though approaching 20 years old, is still in amazing shape. Our cabin, 8522, was great, and the only problem we had was that the couch was dirty, rock hard and broken, and really unusable. Everything else on the cruise was amazing. One ...

What a great vacation

Sailing out of Bayonne (40 miles from home) was luxuriously convenient. This ship was larger than our first cruise (on Brilliance), but never really felt crowded. We were less-than-impressed with food in the main dining room, and will probably plan for upgraded/specialty dining every night on future cruises. The three specialty restaurants were all excellent, as one might expect. Our cabin was ...
