NEEDS to be refurbished.
"This is the third time we had been to Chops Grill, and I found that the food on this ship was much better and the attention by the wait staff was fenomenal. One thing I liked and found better than on other ships is the amount of electrical outlets close to the bed...."Read More

Great but Some Minor Improvements Needed

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Great ship in good shape but with some minor improvements needed. Embarkation- simple and easy. From entering the terminal to getting on the ship was 15 minutes. They really have this down to a science. The ship- older but mostly clean and in good shape. Adventure is solidly in the mid-size category for RCI. It's big enough to not feel cramped and doesn't feel crowded except in the ...

Enjoyed Staying at Towneplace Suites on Butler. Very clean, wonderful warm customer service, pool, guest laundry, breakfast included. Chuy's next door, and Pollo Tropical just past Chuy's. Pre-cruise through GoPort. After cruise on our own. GoPort-impressive. Very smooth process. Emailed us the night prior when to be in hotel lobby. Down to lobby in morning-uniformed rep in lobby ...

Adventure of the Seas is the Disaster of the Seas

I just want to preface this review by saying that I am a “Diamond” member so I have gone on a bunch of cruises with Royal Carribean. So with that said the cruise we had on Adventure of the Seas was awful. The ship is in terrible condition and granted we assumed it would be dated given its age when we booked, but clearly they are not staying on top of many things. The toilets smelt terrible. ...

Would recommend a different cruise line

-Food: 5/10. Unfortunately, the food was a huge letdown. Everything was "meh," but there was a good variety and quantity available. -Entertainment: 5/10. Typical trivia and game shows, but night time entertainment was just awful. Bizarre shows and ice-rink broken. Not much going on here, in general. -Beds: 2/10, rock hard. I heard you could request a mattress topper but we thought of this ...

My husband and I cruised with our High School senior and her friend this past week. This was spring break and the ship was full. We sailed on AOS last June and it was not as crowded and did not have as many children. My husband and I had a balcony cabin and the girls were across from us in an interior promenade room. Because they were 17, we had to book one parent in each room and then we simply ...

This was our first cruise experience. We have always done the ‘all-inclusive’ vacation packages to our chosen destinations. We were on the cruise with cousins. None of our bids for stateroom upgrade were accepted. We had an ocean view room with a queen bed and a sofa that made into a double bed. Storage was incredibly ample. The shower was cramped and the bathroom reeked of urine the entire ...

Adventure of the Seas Mar 8th – Mar 15th, 2024 Good day thanks for taking the time to read my cruise review. Before going into the review, I wanted to share that my cruise experience consists of 18 Royal Caribbean cruises, I have had the privilege of sailing on all the Class ships except the New Icon. Although I have been on more than 20 Cruises. I do not consider myself an expert, However I ...

Fun cruise--though the ship shows its age

We arrived in Orlando late Thursday night, picked up a rented car and drove to Hyatt Place in Titusville. (The car they gave us had 82K miles on it shook the entire ride—they got an earful). Dropped the car off at rental agency and they gave us a ride to the ship exactly at our check-in time. Easily dropped our luggage and headed into the terminal. Quick document check, relatively quick ...

A series of minor annoyances

I travelled with my husband and two teenage children. Here is a break down of each part of our experience on the ship: Embarkation: We got The Key for all four of us, so embarkation was super fast. We went right to the special lunch in the MDR with a condensed menu from Chops. Service was slow because it seemed like a crew that didn’t typically work together. Food was just ok. When we exited ...

Adventure of the Seas delivers a good time!

My Wife, Son and I along with another couple wanted a winter cruise for a good price and easy port to access. Adventure had an 8 day cruise out of Port Canaveral so we jumped on it. We had cruised on Adventure before and loved the ship. We are Diamond plus members and have only cruised on RCCL ships. We flew to Orlando the day before and shuttled to Cocoa Beach and spent the night. A quick Uber ...
