Comparing this cruise on Adventure of the seas to other cruises taken Positives Great quality food; Friendly, happy, helpful staff; Very clean; Best shows we have seen; Cabin was comfortable. We joined this Canary Island cruise because of the interesting ports. We booked through a local travel agency and also booked a pre-cruise hotel night in Malaga. PRE CRUISE HOTEL RCCL got us a room at the Hotel AC Malaga Palacio. We took a taxi from the Malaga airport to the hotel for 20 euros. On arrival at Malaga, we were handed a typed piece of paper, which due to handling luggage and 2 children, didn't get to read properly until we were on the transfer bus........when too late, we found out that the ship was being "sanitised" due to an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting.
