Very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Our comfy king sized bed was placed in front of a large ocean view port-light (window), and was flanked by bedside tables with drawers. There was ton of storage, a nice vanity/desk with large mirror, a lighted make up mirror, a flat screen tv, a couch and table which could be adjusted in height for dining or coffee table. The ample lighting was adjustable for mood or task, and was stylishly done. The carpet looked new and felt good under bare feet. The bathroom was kept sparkling clean and had a shower/tub and even a line to dry clothes if needed. The tile floors and walls were lovely. Over all, the cabinets and other fixtures and furnishings were very fine quality. It felt like a luxurious hotel room. The towels were thick and thirsty, and the bath towels were over-sized. I loved the white robes they furnished for the cruise. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was great. It was a good size with a full size couch which could be a 3rd bed. We hap opted for twin beds as that gave us more room near our window. There were 5 cupboards and plenty of storage. We had hired a bar fridge and that was great. The airconditioning in our cabin was good.
Our cabin stewards Made and Sajorno were very good. Made left us in Phuket as he was going to the Koningsdam (congratulations Made). His replacement Solly was okay. Read entire member review >>

We did notice something banging against the side of the ship near us on a night with rough seas.Unfortunately, the windows always seemed to be covered with condensation on the outside. If you are looking for an "anything goes" setting, Cruise Critic might not be the place for you. Understand, too, that our community is comprised of folks who LOVE to cruise. It therefore stands to reason that they will have a favorite cruise line or port of call -- in other words, they are "fans" and will sometimes take offense when a brand new member has arrived on the scene to bash a cruise line.
