Our ocean view cabin was new, clean, and quite nice. Larger than meany, it had very good storage with drawers and closets. There was a separate sitting area with a couch that was not too comfortable for lounging without deploying a couple of pillows. The bath was large with a tub and shower. It also was clean and neat. The shower was in the tub and though it had good hand holds, it had little security and could be a bit hazardous in rough seas. As sailors say, "One hand for yourself, one for the ship, at all times." We tried to take our showers while still in port, and on one rough sea day took our showers in the very nice showers at each pool (all soap, etc. provided in the pool showers) The TV was not refurbished. It was 15 years old, an old 4x3 non-HD unit. A new 16x9 HD with twice the viewing area would have fit in the same space, and cost less than $100 at Best Buy. Penny wise, pound foolish. Read Less

I concur with other reviewers that cabin 1830 is noisy when entering and exiting ports and the night before disembarkation (luggage storage). Our voyage was particularly bumpy on the first sea day and it was strange, because I have been in far harsher seas this year and not experienced anything like this bumpiness that we did. Many passengers took ill, which was unfortunate when on vacation. Even the patch behind the ear had to be followed up with the pill. :( Read Less

Our mid-ship stateroom #2621 was quite comfortable-A/C worked well. Water pressure in the shower was good and the hot water was steady. I wished that there was more storage room in the bathroom, though and a nigh light would have been welcomed. The absence of a fridge was our only issue. My husband had to visit the medical office frequently to retrieve his medications that needed refrigeration. Read Less

2637: closer to the working parts and smells of the ship than the higher, more expensive decks; carpet needs a deep cleaning or a total change -musty smell. Everything in the cabin worked fine and lots of closet and storage space. Would not choose this particular cabin again, but Deck Two overall was fine overall. Check your deck plan and look for cabins away from the blank spots where some of the ship's equipment resides. No unnecessary noise problems - very quiet. Read Less
