Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Rhapsody of the Seas

This was the Rhapsody's first since the pandemic began. I was told the staff were almost all new not only to this ship, but to Royal Caribbean and cruise employment generally. I was also told the ship had staffing issues in regard to numbers (like most any hotel or restaurant you've visited recently). I chose this cruise based on itinerary and time of year. I was happy this ship was on ...

We have been cruising with MSC for the last 3 years. This was the 11th cruise with MSC and the 7th on the Divina. This review compares the Transatlantic cruise from the Divina during November 2019 against the previous cruises we did with MSC out of Miami on the Divina, Seaside and Armonia.Comments are the differences between this cruise and all other MSC cruises we took. We didn't compare MSC ...

We sailed on this ship on 3 previous occasions and loved it. We liked the itinerary and price. Unfortunately, things have changed and the crew is incompetent. They kept our American passport when we got on. Made it difficult to get it back. Food is now terrible. Little info about ports. Entertainment is repetitive. No television service other than free movies of their choice. Very poor Wifi and no ...

My wife and myself have just completed our second cruise with Royal Caribbean, This time on one of the smaller ships, it had good and bad points, The ship was very well run from the moment we arrived at Rome airport, RC staff took control of everything , luggage was taken and delivered to our cabin, transfers were on time and embarkation was smooth. The ship has some lovely areas lots of dark ...

15 Day Transatlantic from Rome to Tampa

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Oosterdam

We were visiting family in Italy and decided that it was a good value and more fun to take a repositioning cruise back to the states. We looked at the repositioning cruises in Oct/Nov time frame and this one met our schedules. We have taken many cruises -- Regent, Princess, Celebrity and HAL. Probably more on HAL because we like the smaller ships. Even though we thought we were experienced ...

I just returned from a 15 Transatlantic cruise on The Oosterdam.. There was nothing about the ship that I didn't like. The food, staff, entertainment and overall appearance of the ship was outstanding. It was my first time on a HAL ship. I suspect it won't be the last. The staff were very genuine whenever they greeted me. Microsoft had a person to teach all of the Microsoft programs. ...

Food was excellent. Service as usual on HAL wonderful. Entertainment great. Absolutely no negative comments! Enjoyed the guest lectures. Loved the BB king music and dancing Billboard piano's and music selections excellent The best hamburgers I've eaten in along time served on deck "dive-in" The greenhouse spa and thermal suite is a must on any transatlantic even though we had warm ...

We wanted a cruise coming back to the USA with Tampa as the final port for us as we live in central Florida. Little did we expect the whole ship to be under restrictions because many passengers had a virus - this really puts a burden on the staff especially at meal time. Everywhere you went people were coughing and not always into a tissue! IMHO the filters should be replaced before every ...

Fabulous itinerary -- Mediocre Ship -- Norwegian Star

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Norwegian Star

The itinerary was truly spectacular. A "bucket list" for us and our traveling companions. For us, every port from Cyprus to Dubai was a new adventure, and even several ports in Italy and Greece offered new experiences. [The ports were Rome, Naples, Messina, Piraeus, Kakolon (Greece) Cyprus, Haifa (Israel) Aqaba (Jordan) Safaga (Egypt), passing through the Suez Canal, Salalah and Muscat (Oman) ...
