1-9 of 9 Viking Ocean Viking Venus Cruise Reviews for Luxury Cruises to the Mediterranean from Rome (Civitavecchia)
The trip was chosen due to first class nature of the ship, the excursions, and the location. From the moment we boarded until we disembarked, it was an amazing trip full of adventure, new sites, some of the best tour guides and experienced and fabulous ship personnel. The cruise director was enthusiastic and knowledge and wanted everyone to have a great time. The restaurants were top notch and ...
This was our first Viking Ocean cruise. It will not be our last. The ship is beautiful. The amenities are spectacular from the plethora of areas to just take it easy to the spa. And all with no kids and no pressure to purchase anything else. The Chef's Table restaurant has awesome service and awesome food. We got the wine pairings with the meal and it was a 5 star experience. We also tried ...
Viking cruise is just like their advertising state, its a thinking man's cruise not a drinking man's. There is always interesting lecture regarding the history of your next port as well as the interesting people in the region. All the included tours are great as well as any of the added tours. The local tour guide are knowledgeable and make their tour interesting and they tend to include some ...
Viking Cruises are by far my favorite with excellent customer service, wonderful accommodations and delicious food. The excursions were well planned with knowledge tour guides. We knew when we boarded our excursion bus that we were going to learn about the local area and understand the history. Both my husband and I relaxed in the steam room and revived in the snow room. It was a treat to be so ...
This was our first cruise on Viking, and it did not disappoint at all! We chose this cruise because it included 3 days in the Holy Land in addition to the other cities we wanted to visit. What we experienced on Viking was more than expected = incredible and amazing. The ship was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable.
The crew was top notch in all levels with fabulous customer service - ...
I liked the Venus itinerary so having never cruised on Viking I went for. GTY on a DV-6 Deluxe Veranda. I trusted the cruise line would make a great choice for me like Crystal Cruise or Regent has very time. What I got was the lowest floor in a regular cabin. Will I do a GTY again?- NEVER! Will I cruise with Viking again- well that remains to be seen. So far I am not thrilled! I’ll be ...
We appreciate you taking the time to detail your experience with us, 40Love, as feedback such as this allows us to better understand our guests’ travel preferences. We would welcome the...
I chose this cruise since it was going to the Holy Land for 3 nights. The food was spectacular. We ate in different restaurants/ buffets almost. every night. The variety was incredible and was always served hot and fresh when called for. We stayed in a PV3 stateroom. It was a relatively spacious room with a very nice balcony, although we didn't use it too much since the weather, although ...
We wanted to go to Israel and Greece. This cruise fulfilled those constraints and exceeded all expectations. The ship was perfect sized, the staff absolutely great and the weather was fantastic. We extended our cruise by two days to tour Athens which was absolutely worth every euro. The lectures on the ship were very beneficial to give us a background as to our ports of call, the cruise ...
We have never been to Israel and thought this would be a great opportunity. The cruise exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately there was a norovirus outbreak (limited). Viking handled this extremely well and I believe there were never more than 6 people quarantined at any time, however we never experienced 48 hours of no new cases so we never got to enjoy the pool or spa.
