We chose Regent based on prior experience. This was our 4th cruise, and on this beautiful new ship Explorer everything was even better than we remembered. Crew, amenities, excursions, food -- all just absolutely top notch! We embarked in Rome, and stopped at multiple locations in Italy, France and Spain. This was cruise #3 with Regent. The experience on the Explorer was the best. Everyone was like the former Cheers show where "everyone knows your name." Amazing memories of staffers who may have only seen you once or twice the entire week. Must have access to the photos of cruisers to have those memories.

This was one of our most enjoyable cruises in a long time. The ship is absolutely beautiful to include the use of dark woods, artwork throughout the ship, and gorgeous chandeliers. This was my fourth cruise on Regent (wife's fifth). We had originally planned to take Navigator trans-Atlantic in March, but switched to the new ship as soon as we got the announcement email. We got off the Explorer two days ago. It was our first crossing and it was wonderful. The Explorer is a beautiful ship in all respects. The decor is elegant and is obvious lots of money and thought went into it. We loved everything about the cruise.

Same wonderful service
The Explorer is brand new. But the warm, friendly service from the Regent crew is the same as on all the other Regent ships. We found the service everywhere to be fast and efficient. Within a few days many of the crew knew us.
