Wonderful Cruise and Ports

Review for Rhapsody of the Seas to Europe - Western Mediterranean

The embarkation was terrible, the port was terrible. Too much walking and winds to get to the ship. Very unorganized. The ship was an older one, but still very nice. Going into rehab soon, then coming to America. The junior suite was small, but very comfortable. Dining was typical for RCL, some nights they had many choices, some nights not so many, but always good. Windjammer food below ...

Outstanding ship and personnel

We chose this cruise mostly for the departure and arrival ports, but were really pleased with the cruise itself. I had sailed on this same ship in the Caribbean years ago and was not all that impressed. Somehow, this captain and crew made the experience for this trip outstanding. Loved the solarium pool! We chose to dine in the traditional dining arrangement so got to know our tablemates and ...

Excellent Ports of Call

Review for Rhapsody of the Seas to Europe - Eastern Mediterranean

The ports of call were excellent, we booked the cruise because of the ports and were not disappointed, many ports we had not seen offered before. R.C. did an excellent job of planning this itinerary. The ship was in good shape and clean, meeting our expectations. We have cruised on R.C. in the past and have always been impressed with the food and the service, but this time both where lower ...

This was our fourth cruise with Royal Caribbean, and we have always enjoyed every minute of them. This cruise, however, didn't just meet the expectations we have come to expect from RCI. The ship is somewhat dated and general cleanliness is lacking. The shows clashed with our meal time in the MDR, and some activities started at times unsuitable for the second dining room sitting ...

End of the Ship Balcony!

We chose Royal Caribbean (RC) Line because I find this line to be a little more organized than the few others I have experienced. We wanted to visit Athens and some Greek Islands, specifically, I wanted to go to Crete. Which was not disappointing. I had to book an on shore adventure through an outside vendor on my own but they were very accommodating and it was well worth the effort. Santorini was ...

Not worth it at all

Not at all interested in Royal Caribbean's big ship activities. I'm not into sky diving, surfing, rock climbing or zip lining so I figured the 2000 person Rhapsody would be a good choice I like the smaller ships. Not good choice at all. Embarkation: They shared terminal space with Costa. Signage was so small our driver missed it first time by. Then they used 8 1/2 X 11" paper to label where ...

Great Cruise with Great Friends

We were a group of 8 couples, friends for 30+ years traveling together. We planned the trip for almost two years. We began our trip in Atlanta, Georgia, and Delta Air Lines did a fantastic job of taking us from there and back. We spent 2 days in Rome prior to the cruise departure. We spent most of our time trying to see as many of the main tourist sites as possible. We were disappointed that Trevi ...

Bad Experience

This is the first review I have ever written on a vacation destination. We did enjoy the nightly dining room meal with friends and family. We participated in most activities and went to most of the shows. The overall opinion of the ship physically was acceptable and usually clean. The service in the formal dining room was very good. This cruise was to celebrate my 50th birthday and was a ...

This was my first cruise. I wasn't sure what to expect. However I read a lot of reviews ideas etc We arrived easily at the pier . Had a mooch about and found our outside cabin. Loved the ship . All clean tidy and the crew seemed lovely. Cabin much bigger than I thought. Twin beds and bathroom of course small but fine in size. Shower lovely and all spotless. Please not both American and ...
