The WORST cruise I have ever been on.

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Brilliance of the Seas

This is our forth transatlantic so we know what to expect. From day one there have been uncalled for and primarily unapologetic things that have gone wrong. It was a back to back and on the second leg they kept us in the theater 3 hours because they couldn’t find the new sea pass cards. Management was very unaccomidating in the dining room. They were short staffed and would not combine a table of ...

This was our second Royal Caribbean Transatlantic crossing and what a contrast. Our 2018 trip was a real pleasure. This November 2022 cruise was plagued by mistakes. Almost every day there were last minute changes, conflicting and often duplicate scheduling of events on the ship. Repeatedly, crew made no seating or staging preparations for events. The Cruise Campus was a mess. Examples: Oe ...

We arrived at Rome airport and took the train to Civitaveccia, arriving in time for lunch onboard. We had an outside cabin for the first cruise from Rome to Amsterdam and a balcony cabin for the Norwegisn fjords cruise. Both were very nice with cabin stewards to match. We had late dinner seating for both cruises because we wanted to maximize our time in the ports. We took all of our dinners and ...

Ok, Just returned from the Brilliance of the Seas repositioning cruise, from Rome to Amsterdam, the stops on the cruise were Gibraltar, La Corunna, Le Havre, Dover and then Amsterdam. Overall, it was an 'OK' cruise, but unfortunately, some of things about the ship need improving, and soon! We booked this cruise a few months ago because of the price, we just wanted a cheap cruise and this ...

I must honestly say that I was definitely looking forward to the this cruise as my experience traveling to Europe was very limited. This was my 12th cruise and my 3rd on Royal Caribbean. My first cruise on RCCL was long ago (1975) when RCCL only had three small ships - The Song of Norway, The Nordic Prince and The Sun Viking. My two week cruise on the Nordic Prince was top notch and one of my ...

After 6 cruises on 4 different cruise lines our 5/29/05 sailing from Rome to Barcelona was the most disappointing. Our friends who sailed with us have 32 cruises under their belt and felt the same way. The Entertainment aboard this cruise was by far the worst ever. The singers butchered the songs they tried to do. The best show of the whole trip was the Juggler on the 1st night. The menus in the ...

7-night Mediterranean Cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas 05/29/05 - 06/05/05 Ports of Call: Rome, (Civitavecchia) Italy; Naples, Italy; Messina, Sicily; Livorno, (Florence) Italy, Villefranche, France and Barcelona, Spain As I researched for months before our Mediterranean cruise, I feel it necessary to "pay it forward" to share what I've experienced. I learned so much from others, that I ...
