We are a senior couple who choose this cruise mainly for the ports which didn't disappoint.
We used princess transfers before and after cruise. We also booked our flights and our cruise insurance thru them. Using princess transfers we got to the ship early afternoon. At that time our cabin was ready. Our cabin was E320 obstructed view on deck 8 mid ship. The obstruction to the outside was ...
Because we wanted to cruise around the Mediterrean and visit certain countries. The special deal was a very good offer. This was our second cruise through Princess line and really enjoyed our first so this was how we came to our decision. We opted for a balcony stateroom this time and to wake up with a different view in the morning was great. The process of embarkation was smooth and staff ...
I had my concerns when I booked this cruise because of some of the reviews I read. However, the itinerary seemed great and I thought I'd give Princess a try. In the past, I have sailed Royal Carribean and Carnival. I was very impressed with my trip and would say I preferred my overall experience on princess over RC and Carnival.
Things I liked:
- the interior rooms, while still small, ...
I chose this cruise because our agent was able to tie it in well with a land trip we were doing earlier. It also included many places that I have always wanted to visit, and some I hadn’t heard of too. When booking we were not told it was 2 back to back cruises, but this did have an effect on the cruise. Ports included were:- Salerno, Kotor, Corfu, Crete, Mykonos, Athens, Santorini (substituted ...
We chose this cruise because it took in a lot of the major European landmarks that were on our bucket list. We booked it when the price was right (albeit an interior stateroom), but were upgraded to a better deck and a room with a view. Pretty happy about that. It was a great way to visit multiple cities so we could work out where we'd happily revisit, or not bother again. ...
We chose this cruise predominantly because it was convenient both in length and destination.
Nonetheless, the itinerary was great and easy enough to plan shore excursions with local agents or simply going ashore on your own.
The ship was in good condition having been refurbished in March last year. The beds were extremely comfortable and our mini suite was very spacious (more space than we ...
To see the best of Europe, explored Rome before embarkment, embarkment was very smooth and we were able to embark early. The cabin was excellent with a balcony that had a great view of the coastline for most of the cruise. The cabin was clean/tidy and always serviced regularly. The only fault was we were directly under the pool/bar deck and early 5.30-6 am we were woken with the setting up of the ...
Arrival in Rome, met immediately and escorted to the holding area before bus ride to ship. Embarkation was quick and we were on the ship and checking our cabin. AND yes, our cabin was available immediately.
We had a inside cabin with 3 women, we had enough room for all our stuff, and enough towels!
My only disappointment, was the entertainment was pretty bad - Even the headliner was ...
The ports on this cruise were amazing everyday we woke up in a different county and, the weather was perfect it was a wonderful cruise.
The ship was redone I haven't seen much of a difference from the last time I was on it about 2 years ago. The bedding was new and very comfortable but other then that it ship looked pretty much the same. I love princess its' a great cruise line. they have a ...
My husband and I had the please of sailing on the Crown Princess from 6/29-7/11 for a Mediterranean and Greek Isles cruise. This was my fourth cruise and my husband's second, and our first experience with Princess. This cruise was part of an overall three week tour of Europe for us. We are both in our late 20's and childless...for now.
We chose to use the cruise transfers through Princess ...
