I had my concerns when I booked this cruise because of some of the reviews I read. However, the itinerary seemed great and I thought I'd give Princess a try. In the past, I have sailed Royal Carribean and Carnival. I was very impressed with my trip and would say I preferred my overall experience on princess over RC and Carnival.

We chose this cruise because it took in a lot of the major European landmarks that were on our bucket list. We booked it when the price was right (albeit an interior stateroom), but were upgraded to a better deck and a room with a view. Pretty happy about that. To see the best of Europe, explored Rome before embarkment, embarkment was very smooth and we were able to embark early. The ports on this cruise were amazing everyday we woke up in a different county and, the weather was perfect it was a wonderful cruise.

Arrival in Rome, met immediately and escorted to the holding area before bus ride to ship. Embarkation was quick and we were on the ship and checking our cabin. AND yes, our cabin was available immediately.
