The beverage package is not of any value. Like most lines the internet package is expensive though the coverage was pretty good on this cruise. This was our first ocean cruise; we did the Danube River cruise last year. At first we booked an outside with $100 credit. Then 6 months later, I noticed a balcony sale on the same ship, the Oosterdam. We were upgraded to a balcony for $300 Canadian less and got $400 U.S. onboard credit! We chose this cruise for the itinerary, which included the Riviera, several stops in Provence, and a stop for the Alhambra (although Granada was quite a distance from Almeria, it was worth the trip). We enjoyed our cruise very much but were very disappointed with a couple of things.
Pros: Upgraded to an ocean view stateroom and also had a reduction of $1000 each on the original cost of the cruise
-Stateroom 1044 had a bathtub! A very nice surprise!

Just back from a wonderful yet very busy cruise aboard the lovely Oosterdam. We took the second upsell offer (half the price of the first one) and enjoyed our first Neptune suite and the perks associated with it.
