A Nice Cruise- but not premium

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We have not cruised on Oceania before, but got the brochure and it had places we wanted to go. This was our first post -covid cruise. We had bought our cruise just before the Simply More promotions- so wine was not included. Overall, it was a very nice ship-we had a few issues with the trim in our cabin popping off and problems with the sliding ...

Excellent experience first time on Oceania

We previously cruised with Holland America, Princess, and Carnaval. We chose this cruise for the interesting ports and for the food experience. We did Oceania tours at every port and were happy with all. They were well organized and very informative. Embarkation was easy, as long as one did the online preparation. We were on board by 11:30 am on embarkation day and had lunch on the Terrace ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Nautica

We are a 70+ couple with over 60 cruises under our belt. We did this cruise mainly because of the ‘best food at sea’ Oceania prides itself. Well, we found that this claim is not much more than just advertising. The food was good, but certainly not at the level of a six star ship. We normally do enjoy dinner in the main dining room, but on this ship the menu was very limited and uninspiring. We ...

We did 2 cruises, back to back on Oceania Nautica, starting on 2 August for 23 days in the Med. I can honestly say "We Loved It" Several reviews I had read were not glowing about this ship and I was a bit apprehensive but it was great. We were in Concierge level 1, which in hindsight was not necessary to have a great trip. The extras included for that cabin were, a bottle of champagne on ...

Didn’t live up to its reputation or brand

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

We chose the cruise primarily for the destinations/ports as we were doing a memorial trip for family. This was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime trip so we splurged on a suite, which was wonderful, and the butler service associated with it was excellent, as you would expect. Unfortunately, for a cruise line that bills itself as having the best food at sea, we just didn’t find that to be true. ...

First time Oceania cruisers had a fantastic time on Marina!

My husband and I took a western Mediterranean cruise on Marina that started in Rome and ended in Barcelona. We absolutely loved it! First of all, the food was outstanding! We ate once at each of the specialty restaurants and enjoyed them all. I love that they're all included with our cruise. I think our 2 favorites were Red Ginger and Jacques, but Polo Grill and Toscana were also delicious. The ...

You could call it a smoking cruise

Good cruise, which could have been better. Sad to report and review. Smoke and smoking affected everything. On board. In our room, verranda and walking on ninth and tenth floors. We couldn't use our verranda on the eight floor. We had friends on the seventh floor who also complained of the smell. There was cigarette and cigar smoking from our first to last day on board, ship. It's a safety ...

This cruise was our first time on Oceania. The ship had about 600 passengers, so a little over half capacity and the COVID restrictions were in force. So I'm not sure if it was a "normal" cruise and that may have contributed to our less than perfect experience. We arrived in Rome a few days early. I had used Oceania Custom Air because airlines were cancelling and changing flights due to covid ...

A nice ship but left disappointed

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Marina

We went on our second Oceania cruise two weeks ago on the Marina. We had taken an Oceania cruise to Cuba on the Sirina about a year ago. We had heard such wonderful things about the Marina, large cabins, great service and great food. We have been consistent Crystal cruisers. (18 over the years) The Marina is a small ship, the type we like and the cabins are a bit larger than Crystals. ...
