We previously cruised with Holland America, Princess, and Carnaval. We chose this cruise for the interesting ports and for the food experience. We did Oceania tours at every port and were happy with all. They were well organized and very informative. Embarkation was easy, as long as one did the online preparation. We were on board by 11:30 am on embarkation day and had lunch on the Terrace ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We have not cruised on Oceania before, but got the brochure and it had places we wanted to go. This was our first post -covid cruise.
We had bought our cruise just before the Simply More promotions- so wine was not included.
Overall, it was a very nice ship-we had a few issues with the trim in our cabin popping off and problems with the sliding ...
We just returned from 10 days on the Riviera, and we had an amazing time! This was our second cruise with Oceania, having sailed on the Marina last year. We found every member of the crew to be so friendly, helpful, and professional. We were always greeted with a smile. My husband and I definitely felt spoiled by exceptional service from everyone we encountered, from our cabin steward to wait ...
Our first cruise with Oceania after enjoying cruises with Silver Seas, Holland America and Cunard. Food was generally excellent, but speciality restaurants need to be booked well in advance as large groups book in bulk. Buffet was certainly no better than our experiences with lower cost cruise lines. Recently refurbished balcony stateroom was very comfortable with a well designed and relatively ...
Always wanted to see Italy, Greece, and love to cruise! Beautiful ship, friendly staff and guests from all over the world! We were pampered, entertained , delightful restaurants, smooth sailings d fun excursions!
We found the private deck and hot tub! We love the salad options! We had a wonderful Cod sandwich at the Wave for lunch! Always a table ready for us to dine! Our butler took good care ...
Read reviews and think thrice before booking an Oceania cruise.
We booked the Goddesses to Gondolas cruise because of the pleasurable experience we previously had on (pre-Covid) Oceania, and we wanted to try out the newly-refurbished Riviera.
We booked this cruise more than a year before the sailing because we were told by our travel agent that these cruises sell out fast. If we had the ...
We are a 70+ couple with over 60 cruises under our belt. We did this cruise mainly because of the ‘best food at sea’ Oceania prides itself. Well, we found that this claim is not much more than just advertising. The food was good, but certainly not at the level of a six star ship. We normally do enjoy dinner in the main dining room, but on this ship the menu was very limited and uninspiring. We ...
We did 2 cruises, back to back on Oceania Nautica, starting on 2 August for 23 days in the Med. I can honestly say "We Loved It"
Several reviews I had read were not glowing about this ship and I was a bit apprehensive but it was great. We were in Concierge level 1, which in hindsight was not necessary to have a great trip.
The extras included for that cabin were, a bottle of champagne on ...
Firstly, the Good Parts
The new ship is magnificent (as it should be).
- Stateroom was smaller than other cruise lines but modern, light & clean and entirely fit for purpose.
- Bathrooms were the best I have experienced on a cruise line.
- Room stewards were excellent in all ways.
- With one exception, all types / levels of staff were pleasant and efficient.
- Disembarkation ...
All I can say is Don’t Do It. You are better off on Carnival - at least you will not be upset that services is 3* because so are their prices. The customer service on Oceania is pitiful. If you cruise then get used to “No”. Empty tables in the specialty restaurants and you would like to have dinner - No. By the end of the day the pool deck looks like a college spring break party with used ...
