This is my 5th cruise on NCL and have been every happy with the last 4. The Epic disappointed in nearly every way. 1st let's start with the things the line can no longer change like the layout of the cabins and the deck plans. The whole cruise was terrible. The cabins were poorly designed and the lighting was non-existent. Had to use cell phone flash lights to apply make-up. As for additional lighting several times and our requests were ignored. Our room was not kept clean. The bed linens were not changed the whole cruise. This was our 25th anniversary trip and frankly, the cruise was poor at best. I’ve been on maybe a dozen ships and never have I seen such a blatant cash grab...$10usd beers, $7usd for one bowling round, four times the going rate for an excursion.
The ship is attractive, but seriously, when you have 4000 passengers what that means is long lines for everything.

I would definitely not recommend this cruise ship. It was very dirty and the customer service was non-existent, crew members were rude and non attentive. My wife and I just disembarked the Norwegian Epic, I wish I could give a good recommendation, but I can't.
