This is my 5th cruise on NCL and have been every happy with the last 4. The Epic disappointed in nearly every way. 1st let's start with the things the line can no longer change like the layout of the cabins and the deck plans. The bathroom situation in the cabins is beyond uncomfortable. There is no bathroom door just a curtain. When traveling with just a couple this might not be such an issue ...

Worst cruise in my life. A total disaster from start to finish

The whole cruise was terrible. The cabins were poorly designed and the lighting was non-existent. Had to use cell phone flash lights to apply make-up. As for additional lighting several times and our requests were ignored. Our room was not kept clean. The bed linens were not changed the whole cruise. Our personal items were moved and put in wrong luggage. The food was tasteless and cold on ...

A seven day cash grab

This was our 25th anniversary trip and frankly, the cruise was poor at best. I’ve been on maybe a dozen ships and never have I seen such a blatant cash grab...$10usd beers, $7usd for one bowling round, four times the going rate for an excursion. The ship is attractive, but seriously, when you have 4000 passengers what that means is long lines for everything. Please tell me how hard it is ...

1: we will never use this line again ever 2: the design of the ship is terrible. this ship is the only one made in France and that was a big mistake having them design it and build it Really France!! 3: you have only 2 main ways of going up and down -- either you walk to the bow or to the stern there is no middle stairs or elevators 4: the first day there was a broken light over the ...

Let me start out first by saying that I'm a very seasoned cruiser. Nearly 100 days of traveling on various cruise lines on the high seas. Although this boat was rated as 1# for honeymooners, there's a catch and I will reveal the notes I've taken while cruising on my honeymoon. The boat looks amazing from the inside and outside. The decor is top notch and the ship is very clean, but that's ...

Budget cruise - would not recommend it at all - horrible customer service

I would definitely not recommend this cruise ship. It was very dirty and the customer service was non-existent, crew members were rude and non attentive. We ended up having 2 mini suites on the 8th floor and I would definitely not recommend staying on the 8th floor as all the bars are on the 7th floor and the music literally shook our bedrooms until 1am. Rooms are very dirty, carpeting was ...

Overall the food was great, that was about it. The activities were dull, outdated and an overall disappointment. Not sure who the target audience was. The ship is too big, the common areas of the ship were dark and gloomy, the pool areas were always overcrowded. I could not even get in, the Jacuzzi was always filled to capacity. The cabins were way too small and dim. My cabin attendant was ...

My wife and I just disembarked the Norwegian Epic, I wish I could give a good recommendation, but I can't. Airline Accommodations: Very good, our trip started in San Francisco, minimal layover in Atlanta, both ways. Grade "A+" Pre cruise accommodation: We paid for the 3 day pre cruise visit of Rome. Stayed at the Crowne Plaza St. Peter's. 4 Star hotel. Transfers were included. Grade ...

Norwegian is a terribly inconsistent product. I have been on 3 of their ships, with a different experience each time. The customer service has been consistently poor, however. On the Epic, as with all our cruises, we had a mini suite with a balcony. We were told to ask about a Haven upgrade, but the epic literally has a full time metal sign (oh yeah, they went all out) at their front desk ...

We had never sailed on Norwegian before, but chose this cruise because of the departure date and the appealing destinations. But we were very disappointed and will never sail with them again!! We have been on multiple cruises with Princess and Royal Caribbean, and always found the experience far superior to what we had with NCL. Here are some of the reasons: (1) They had the audacity to say ...
