We went on a Mediterranean cruise July 3rd to 10th 2011. The Navigator of the Seas is a huge ship with a crew from many different countries. I will focus on the negative things on this cruise in this review, to help those who are looking for something exclusive and wonderful when searching for a cruise line. First of all, the ships focus on selling merchandise is enormous. They display and push ...

EMBARKATION The embarkation was well organised. You can't miss the RCI representatives at the airport and after putting your luggage on the coach, you don't see it again until it is outside your cabin on the ship. When we arrived at the port we walked straight through to the security check in and then onto the ship in less than twenty minutes because we had checked in on-line. Make sure you do ...

We were disappointed with the food. The Windjammer food selection was very poor, breakfast was fine but lunch was dreadful. Chicken thighs that were tough and inedible. Honey stung chicken which was soggy, only stir fry available was vegetarian. Dinner in the restaurant was not good either. No brown rolls available any night apart from the first night. No lobster night, we were told the lobster ...

Having just returned for the Mediterranean cruise (29th May - 05 June Rome to Rome) on the Navigator of the sea, I have to say that I was not impressed, nor will I be in a rush to do another cruise on Royal Caribbean International on the Navigator of the seas. This was my 4th cruise and although the other cruises where all on Celebrity ships, I thought that as part of the same company you would ...

We just got back from our Rome round trip on Navigator of the Seas. Our family consists of parents and 4 kids aged 14 to 19. Its our third cruise and I used Cruise Critic frequently during our planning stages. I should also say that we are frequent travelers- and mostly not cruises. Depending on what you like and what your expectations are I should say that we found this ship too big, and our ...

I just traveled on a 7 Night Western Mediterranean Cruise, Navigator Of The Seas,Royal Caribbean on August 1st, 2010 departing Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy I was remiss, in advance to check with the cruise line & my travel agent about their smoking policy. I had cruised the last 3 summers in Europe on both Celebrity (sister ship) and Holland America. Smoking was allowed on those cruises, in ...

The trip got off to a great start.  The boarding process was organized and unstressful.  Our rooms (2) were a comfortable size and the only reason things were a little tight is mostly to our over-packing.  We shared a dinner table with a wonderful family who was travelling with kids about the same ages as mine.  We thoroughly enjoyed their company.  The food and wait-staff were also very ...
