I can only say if I could I would vote a minus. The food is appalling if you want to lose weight then book with msc even top staff asked us to write a bad review about the food the staff can’t wait to Get ashore for something to eat. No kettle in the room. Dress sense is out of the window. I met a man who had done 31 cruises and this was worst. The only saving grace was the amazing staff they are ...

Booked this cruise just a few days before the sailing as a spontaneous way of returning to the states rather than flying. We’d sailed with MSC many times but not since 2016. I don’t know where you could find such horrible poor quality food. I spotted the executive chef onboard and asked why he allows such embarrassingly bad food and his response was a little shocking. He said,”when we get to ...

Well let me just say , I will never again cruise MSC . Had I known it was an Italian based ship I would have never, first of all if your an American you are already going to be treated some time of way ! The food was horrible no selection and this ship has no alternative restaurant but a sushi one which was never open ! The ice machines were broke the whole trip it was hot and sticky and very ...

Balcony Cabin: I stayed in a balcony cabin on deck 8 aft. The cabin itself was a good size and had tons of storage including a double spread wardrobe, 6 draws, 2 bed side tables, under bed storage (for suitcases) and storage under the sink in the bathroom. There was a small 1 seater lounger and a stool underneath the vanity station. There was a hairdryer, a safe and a kettle in my cabin (I ...

Worst cruise line ever

Worst food and worst customer service! Poor communication! Would suggest to avoid this one. We chose the cruise line because it was the only one operating in that area during the winter time. However it was a huge mistake. The food in both causal dinning and the buffet area are horrible and I think I could cook much better food than that. There was limited choice in the buffet section and it was ...

Our MSC bubble has burst

We chose MSC Magnifica as we had sailed with MSC twice before on the Fantasia and the Orchestra, and could not fault either ship, and the cost of an MSC cruise is very favourable So it is the Magnifica that has finally burst the MSC bubble for us and we have to say overall out of 25 cruises we have done so far, with this and other cruise lines this has got to be our worst experience in a long long ...

We have just returned from a 22 night B2B cruise. Our first MSC cruise was last month and this was no better (actually it was worse). We were attracted by the Status Match scheme which catapulted us into their highest Black Card Status. We immediately hit a problem when we went to confirm our request for a table for 2 had been received (it wasn't, just like last month). Salvatore, the ...

Awful Entertainment

I choose this cruise for the itinerary; however the experience was extremely disappointing in terms of entertainment; the only options were old fashion (and depressing) German songs that only German people knew; no dance music, no salsa, only very old German waltzers. The only option to dance was waiting till 11 for the disco to open but it was always deserted because too late. My family got some ...

Great First Cruise Experience

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Magnifica

Having just moved to Europe, our family was looking for a way to link the cities we wanted to see in the Eastern Mediterranean. MSC offered the perfect cruise itinerary at the most affordable price. Our schedule was fairly limited, so we were very excited to find something that fit our availability. We drove to Genoa and stayed 1 night before boarding on December 6, 2016 for an 11-night ...

This was our third cruise, but this was our first cruise with MSC, we had read numerous mixed reviews on several review sites and all I can say is that the people must have been on a different cruise. The ship is very Italian themed, but all crew have a very good understanding of English and it was quite easy to communicate once I started speaking slower. The cabin that we had was a balcony cabin ...
