Chose this particular cruise because it was a repositioning cruise visiting ports we wanted to visit. We were to visit Bermuda after departing NYC but we’re unable to do so due to weather. Of course weather is not controlled by the cruise line. Rather than spend two days in Bermuda we were taken to Tenerife for a partial day. We were offered no compensation for reduced port fees or anything ...
We chose this cruise for a great deal and because the ship looked great. We were keen to find another cruise line to widen our options. Sadly, this was not to be.
Firstly, there is a long list... only 5 people checking in about 300 people between 330pm and 430pm at the port of Civitavecchia - rude staff and it took forever. We were so late on board (520pm not 430pm) we had to go straight to our ...
I chose this cruise as well as the last seven day cruise of the Mediterranean of the season which gave me 28 days on board. The ship is very modern and was kept in immaculate condition whilst on board e.g. The balcony was hosed and scrubbed four times in 28 days.
The interior design of passageways was a bit confusing with dark wall panelling and large mirror inserts which tries to give the ...
This was our first cruise on MSC. My wife and I are both retired and experienced cruisers (32 and counting), mostly with NCL and Celebrity, also Holland America years ago. I will try to be brief, but could write pages on this Cruise from Hell. One passenger I met had three legal pages, single spaced, with complaints.
Check in was a nightmare. We paid for priority boarding, but the lady just ...
Went for our friend's birthday,we were a group of 15 people on board. This was our first Mediterranean cruise. The services were excellent, very friendly staff. The entertainment was awesome, The shows were great no less then any broadway show. The Michael Jackson show totally nailed it.
The service on bars by pool was great. The pool side party was a delite. It was an excellent experience, ...
We sailed the Mediterranean for the second time and selected the MSC Divina because of the great itinerary. We loved the ports which included Genova, Palermo Sicily, Sardinia, Valencia, Rome, Marseille and Palma. The entertainment was great and the auditorium was comfortable and huge. We had no trouble finding seats. The cabin was big and there was lots of closet space.
The only real ...
From the moment we arrived to the port we were taken care of. It was hands down the best vacation and cruise we have been on.The ship was just the right size, the cabin was great even with 4 people. The food was wonderful in the Yacht Club restaurant. The kids had a blast in the kids club and the Spa was great.
There was one downside, I could not get my family off the ship. If I had not ...
We sailed on the MSC Divina in September 2017. Our cruise was interrupted by Hurricane Irma so we decided to take the generous discount MSC gave us and try our first European cruise. Prior to having to leave the ship in September we loved our cruise. We were in the the Yacht Club so we booked the Yacht Club again. We embarked in Rome and everything was going well until later that evening when we ...
It was a good deal in Australian newspapers.
But, you get what you pay for...
Ports were all fine, ship was clean, but food was so very disappointing. Not inviting at all, either in dining room or buffet.
In fact, I felt quite ill, to try and select food in buffet.
So very noisy and full of people.
Announcements all made in many languages, and sometimes this came into your cabin. ...
This was our 7th MSC Cruise, 6 travelling in Yacht Club. We embarked on MSC Divina in Rome. As part of the Yacht Club experience we were taken to an area and offered drinks and snacks whilst we were checked in. Before we could finish our drinks check in was complete. We were taken aboard the ship to our room, which was immaculate. House keeping come twice a day and should you need anything ...
