Normally I take NCL, have been on several ships.
The Prima is not my thing, to sum it up:
The lay of the upper decks is not great, for example there is no walking/running around the ship track. The upper deck is taken in by a cart track and some other stuff. There is no real large deck sunning area.
What I did like was deck nr 8 with a lot of nice sofa's, whirlpools to sit ...
I chose this cruise for good value and newer and bigger ship. The ship is truly beautiful.
1. Dining room food was good, service was excellent, ambience was wonderful.
2. Buffet was chaotic. Food was displayed in 2 narrow aisles on each side of the ship. It was hard to find a seat.
3. Food was average, it lacked variety. Roasts of beef, lamb, chicken and pork were good. Soups were always ...
The ship is nice.
I had a solo cabin which was very good/comfortable for 1 person.
The service on the ship was good, The ship is very clean.
The unlimited internet package was fast.
I could not eat the food in the main restaurants. The quality was not acceptable.
Breakfast however was ok. But its ridiculous that you have to pay for a cappuccino for Breakfast.
The drinks ...
We joined three other couples to celebrate the 70th birthday of one of our companions on board. We have sailed on 23 cruises with several cruise lines in the past, but not on Silversea. We found the cabins to be quite comfortable, and the service to be above average, but the, food and wine offerings were spotty at best. In addition, the ship's layout is quirky, with little logic to the location of ...
Ok, So this was my 1st time cruising on a MSC ship. Since I am handicapped, I tend to stick withe the known. But I decided to try something new.
1st: The Boat - The boat was very nice, almost to the point of being beautiful. Much better than some other lines
The elevators: functioned well, BUT the doors close way too fast. If you are in a wheelchair, by the time you ...
Our first cruise with Oceania after enjoying cruises with Silver Seas, Holland America and Cunard. Food was generally excellent, but speciality restaurants need to be booked well in advance as large groups book in bulk. Buffet was certainly no better than our experiences with lower cost cruise lines. Recently refurbished balcony stateroom was very comfortable with a well designed and relatively ...
We are a 70+ couple with over 60 cruises under our belt. We did this cruise mainly because of the ‘best food at sea’ Oceania prides itself. Well, we found that this claim is not much more than just advertising. The food was good, but certainly not at the level of a six star ship. We normally do enjoy dinner in the main dining room, but on this ship the menu was very limited and uninspiring. We ...
We chose this as our first cruise based on RC stellar reputation as a luxury brand. Any Ritz property we’ve ever stayed at has impeccable service…we enjoyed our time but there are a few items Ritz could majorly improve to make this a 5 star experience.
- The ship is gorgeous with sizable cabins
- Great food
- The spa and spa staff are excellent
- Personal concierge started off great ...
My first impression upon boarding, the Norwegian Viva was wow it’s so new and shiny . We opted for an inside cabin since we booked it three days in advance in the Mediterranean we basically booked it to get around the itinerary. It has a nine days with ports every day Sicily Croatia we boarded in Rome and it will drop us off in Venice, so that was our interest
The cabin is very comfortable the ...
We reserved this cruise after a delightful sailing in a Celebrity Suite, on the Celebrity Silhouette, last year. The downgrades made in overall product are tragically evident: Luminae menus, wine selections, same boring 3 bread offerings 11 nights, etc. Sadly, drastic differences from last year’s experience. Likewise, the Retreat Lounge offerings: Same limited appetizers every night; limited ...
