Have sailed 7 plus times with celebrity on The Silhouette, The Reflection and the Beyond. Have always been impressed with the cruise if not the Customer service which is NOT fir for purpose. however this time I have realized the changes made by the new CEO on 15.08.2023 have made this frankly a poor class budget cruise line with high end prices !!
The first and most alarming issue was that the ...
We are long time NCL cruisers and were excited to try the Viva. We had one mid ship balcony and one Haven penthouse. Long story short the ship feels very cramped.
The buffet is tiny and was full everytime we tried to get in. Indulge was full every time we tried to get in as well.
There are many pools, but they are all small and not something we wanted to use.
There were very few hand ...
It seems that NCL really missed the mark here. Any cruise should be focused on high quality food and a great customer experience.
1. They removed the sports court. This was a main area my son loved to be in on previous ships. He would meet most of his friends on the basketball court and they would go off and have fun for the rest of the cruise. This was replaced with a Go-kart track that is ...
Beware of using NCL for your flights! The flights that NCL scheduled for us were so bad we had to spend an additional $1,700 to book an earlier flight to ensure we would be on the ship when it sailed. This happened despite our asking NCL for different flights in which we would pay the difference in cost. Their answer was no, no, no, many times. The flights they arranged would have arrived in ...
My wife and I decided to try a cruise after a 14 year gap. We wanted a ship that was newer with all the elegance one would expect. But that was not the case. Gone are all the special Star cases and chandeliers that were common on ships we sailed. Replaced with practical decor. Mediocre at best. And our major concern were the number of passengers, 3200, which we should of listened to reason. With ...
I went on a 9 day Greek Isles & Southern Italy cruise with Norwegian and it was so bad that I left after day 3. The entire ship was between 78-82 degrees fahrenheit and my room was close to 80 which is not even close to being considered an expected/normal temp inside. I need to sleep in a room around 68-70 degrees.
The restaurants were all abysmal cafeteria like quality food with everything ...
Since day one our experience was terrible
I have done 6 cruices before in the caribbean and rhe baltic sea with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise. This was my first and last with MSC...

So we chose this cruise for our daughter's sweet sixteen gift. From the get go I didn't like reservations wouldn't allow me to put the passengers where they needed to be, two the air their was 7 of us going. So since I couldn't have my elderly father-in-law with my disabled son, my husband and I had to be their guide. My father in law and husband flew Denver to New York, then to Rome, My son and I ...
We just got off the boat. Worst cruise ship experience I have ever had.
I traveled from Greece to Rome and from Rome to Civitavecchia. I took a shower and the cold water didn't work. Literally a hot bath with 30 degrees Celsius outside. Not only that but the bath overflowed. They repaired it at midnight. Also, I paid for a cabin with a balcony and I didn't even see the sky, because above my ...
My first review and sadly despite being a really positive person this is a truthful account of what we encountered on Celebrity Beyond last week.
We paid for a balcony cabin and got a oceanview room with an electric wind down window—they sell this as an infinite balcony.
If you like to sunbathe on a balcony or have an early morning coffee on your balcony whilst your husband sleeps this is ...
