The following Information are Facts and Not Judgements. After selling me Cabin B401, my travel agency put me in B433 without my approval. Could not change on the first leg as Ship was overbooked. Princess Cruise Line although not at fault put me in Cabin D415 for the second leg. Thank you Princess. Food was fantastic, Service was fantastic. We were notified we needed 2 Visas for Fortaleza ...

Disappointing

After about 15 cruises on Princess we were disappointed with most aspects of this recent cruise. The food was not up to its normal standard. In fact one night we were supposed to have King Crab Legs but when we got to the dining room we were told they didn't have the crab legs. The entertainment also left something to be desired and not up to the normal standard that we have come to expect. There ...

My wife and I mainly pick a cruise based on where it is going vs a specific cruise line or ship. Therefore we picked this cruise because we wanted to tour Europe on our own for two weeks and then hop on a ship coming back to the States. Overall we knew what to expect and have been to most of the ports we visited. Except for a couple of ports we plan our own exclusions and use the local hop on-hop ...

Princess suffering from recession....or just suffering?

First, I must say that we were thrilled with the price of our cruise. However, there should have been disclaimers as to why the price was so low. The Grand Princess is scheduled for dry dock in March 2010. First lesson learned: check the ship's renovation schedule before booking. We booked a mini-suite and were unable to see out one of our balcony doors because the seal had broken and it was ...

We were excited to do our first "Transatlantic" cruise. We booked the GRAND PRINCESS because the rates were excellent, and we wanted to go to multiple continents. We visited, Rome, Cannes, Barcelona, Gibraltar, Morocco, Canary Islands, Brazil(biggest disaster at any port EVER!), Barbados, Dominica and then finally Florida. The trip was long, but enough fun that we have already booked another ...

Our transatlantic cruise was from Nov 22 - Dec 13, 2008. My large suitcase was the last to arrive at our room and it had been destroyed my hubby took it the the purser's desk and they said they would repair it and if they couldn't they would compensate us for it, they were not able to fix it and my hubby went back to see them several times during the 21 day trip on the last day they said to go ...

We arrived at the port of Civitavecchia on Nov 15th for a cruise starting on Nov 18th. What a wonderful little port town to stay in and to visit the market and walk around with the locals. We stayed at the Hotel Bramante and beautiful small 14 room hotel that treated us like we were part of their family. When we embarked we were amazed at how many people had booked the entire 33 day cruise. It was ...

Last cruise with Princess?

After our last Princess cruise, we swore we wouldn't cruise one of their big ships again, convinced that the onboard experience just didn't meet our standards. But we had reckoned without the one thing Princess does better than any other line: offer fabulous itineraries at very attractive prices. So here we were aboard Grand Princess for back-to-back cruises, 12 days roundtrip from Rome on a ...

Grand Princess - USA

Just returned from the above cruise. Marvelous ship, wonderful cabin, great itinerary "but"..... This vessel, for it's size, handled very poorly in some 20 Ft. swells we encountered, with high winds a couple of days out of Lisbon. Terrible shuddering, a strange side to side slide motion, (reminding you of a tram on rails!) and one night at Dinner a very loud crashing and banging, (like a flat tire ...
