We’re a couple in our late 40’s who enjoy all sorts of holidays. On this trip we were looking for relaxation, good food and drink, dancing of all kinds, and a visit to Valetta. I also wanted to experience this new and beautiful offering from MSC. We travelled in late February embarking in Civitavecchia; we knew what to expect when it came to the weather, we weren’t travelling to get a tan! ...

This was our first cruise and first trip to Europe. The ship left from Civitavecchia but since we wanted to see Rome we arrived a day early and stayed across from the Coliseum. It was about an hour and 50 Euros to get the terminal. Embarkation was well organized and straight forward. Our cabin wasn't quite ready but it gave us time to explore the ship a little before it got too ...

I chose this ship as I wanted to enjoy the holidays with my family in a new ship and this one looked spectacular and I thought the ports would be fun as well. Before leaving I read the reviews that other people had posted and thought that perhaps the shortcomings of this she would be in dining and the pay for everything culture. Let me break it down: Food I found the buffet on the 15th floor ...

Not like Celebrity

Chose cruise for ports of call over Christmas holidays so my family could come with us. Do not take this ship if you get seasick. It is too tall for waves and 1/2 the audience in the theatre was motion sick when the ship began to rock and roll when leaving Valletta for Barcelona. Horrid experience watching guests vomit in the theatre and walkways. Why put a cirque show on a high wave night...I ...

We booked our December cruise (Rome, Palermo, Malta, Barcelona, Marseilles, Genoa) well in advance, and like many others, we were a bit freaked out by the many bad reviews of the cruise. After going on the cruise, I can say that it went well compared with the 10+ other cruises we've been on with Norwegian, Princess, and Carnival. It was not perfect, but none of the cruises we've gone on were ever ...

Beautiful and new Ship. Bad food in quality, quantity and specially no variety. Poor variety always the same food 7 days a week. Hous open for food is limited. 7H30 to 10h30, 12h00 to 15h and 18h30 to 22h , after hours snack until 23h00 is only poor quality of pizza. Even fountain juice drinks are only served during breakfast. Quality of food is like school cafeteria . Buffet are very ...

We mainly chose this cruise for the itinerary & because of the brand new ship. We have been on many cruises, only once on MSC(Divina). We were a little hesitant because of some of the reviews, but we were not disappointed. We had a balcony cabin & opted for the Fantastical experience, which worked out well because of the drink package. I do agree with some of the reviewers that I was surprised ...

We sailed from Civitavecchia on a short three nghts to get to Barcelona before a 13 night sailing across the Atlantic (TA) to Miami. Just off the Florida coast we met up with Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas for a photo op. We were on the Allure of the Seas last year and have sailed on 24 cruises with RCI and five with Celebrity. Last month we sailed on MSC for the first time. These ...

This is my sixth cruise and second this year on Royal Caribbean. The first one this year was on Allure of the Seas in a Sky Class Suite and this most recent cruise was also in a Sky Class Suite. The ship, room and room steward were great. In fact the whole crew was really outstanding. Most of our meals were in the Suite Lounge or specialty restaurant and other than Jamie’s all food and service ...

This was a family trip which was planned in Sept 2015. The biggest ship in the world was not a disappointment. While being very large, it was easy to more around and for the most part not crowded. There was lots to do on the ship but not much time to do things. With only 1 day at sea, we missed a lot of the activities. Shore excursions were good but the travel time back and forth to the ship ...
