Previous cruises with Seabourn and Regent Mariner. Very disappointed, inconsistent quality of service in the Compass Rose, dismissive concierge staff and a Captain who is rarely visible and walks past passengers ignoring them. Many complaints from passengers about poor service and poor quality of food in the restraunts.

We chose this cruise because we love to cruise to Greece and this cruise offered ports we have not visited. We have been on 40 cruises and do three a year. This ship was very boring because there was little entertainment. One night they showed "Jungle Book Movie" for the 8pm & 10pm shows come on. Lucky for us the movies in the staterooms where free. We had cabin 8100, a JS facing the back of the ship.
The cabin and balcony size were outstanding BUT this is an older ship and it simply cannot handle speeds in excess of 15 knots even with calm seas without without causing severe shakes and rattles and where in the back of the ship, but worse in the cabins itself.

The embarkation procedure went smoothly and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had been upgraded to the Brittania Club.

This was our first RCI cruise (9 previous cruises on Princess, Celebrity and Cunard) and were were mostly pleased with the experience. The staff were great and friendly and the ship (Serenade of the Seas) was absolutely lovely and every easy to navigate. We loved the ship, enjoyed our itinerary (Greek Isles), thought the public areas were beautiful and we had a great cruise.

The biggest issue was the captains decision to skip Mykonos , though windy , my question is why did Cunards not book a berth on the dock , being a major part of the itinery , many of us booked this particular cruise for Mykonos & Santorini , the handling of the situation pursers desk was deplorable
