Chose this cruise because of great port diversity: Rome, Kotor, Dubrovnik, Athens, Santorini, South France, Barcelona, Morocco and more. And Because we always have enjoyed Princess and specifically the Emerald. Room was great, see below. cabin steward outstanding. Ship has been updated nicely. Service in main DR was outstanding. Unfortunately the food was terrible! which was a big ...

Some good and some not so...but on the whole a good family holiday.

We are a family of 6 - 3 generations consisting of 80 year olds x 2, late 40’s x2 and 2 children 8 and 12. The booking experience was not great with the dining time being changed from 6.30pm to 5.00pm without our knowledge and the on board packages being altered on the day we were booking them. However, we were determined to enjoy the holiday and we did. The ship in our opinion is very good, ...

This cruise was a trip of a lifetime for us, so we were very excited, having never been to Europe. W e felt a cruise was a good way to see different places, but still have the comforts of home. The entertainment was terrible, bands that wouldn't make it at a high school dance, a mime that was suppose to be funny, and a redundant lounge act. It was clear that money wasn't spent on ...

Unmemorable Memories by Princess

The Emerald Princess is a very nice cruise ship. Our stateroom (B-319) was clean and cozy and the balcony provided us with time to relax and watch the sun rise and set as we entered and left port. The TV programing was above average and offers something for everyone. The staff left a lot to be desired. It was as if the staff had been given pink-slips the day of departure. The staff seemed ...

Un-Memorable Memories by Princess Cruises

Like many cruisers before me, I must report that the Emerald Princess Cruise Ship is the poster child of mediocrity and the definition of average. The food is bland and this is the first cruise that I have walked away from unable to talk about my favorite "dish". The dining room service is terrible....I hope you like drinking a very small glass of water with your meal, as the wait staff is not ...

When we first sailed Princess 10 years ago in Alaska, we were very impressed. The food, service, and amenities were all first rate. Gradually, we have noticed all of these going downhill, to the point that this cruise will be probably be our last on Princess. Although the dining room was generally good at dinner, the service has become lax especially at breakfast. The coffee is truly ...
