INTRODUCTION - Having had an awful cruise earlier this year with another cruise line it was lovely to be back with Cunard on board this regal ship.

We have taken several cruises on Oceania, Celebrity, and on Cunard's Queen Victoria. This was our favorite in many ways. Though it's hard to top Oceania for food, we had excellent meals at all times on the Queen Elizabeth. Service was also outstanding, in the restaurants, from our cabin steward, and at the main desk. Sailing on board the Queen Elizabeth was absolutely amazing. We embarked at Rome- Civitavecchia. We took a private car to the port for 140 euros. Checked in around 4pm. This was our second time on Cunard and the QE. WE was an amazing last minute deal going from Rome to Venice back in August 2014, I travelled with my five year old in an inside cabin. It has to be the most luxurious inside cabin of any cruise line complete with bathrobes and half a bottle of champagne on arrival.
