The service especially in the main dining room was excellent. The food was good and we enjoyed almost every meal.
We were in cabin 6243, it was large and the balcony was larger than most. It was a noisy room, during the day, workers were moving something large and noisy directly below our room. Thankfully they did not work at night.

I chose this cruise because of the ports and the opportunity to try a TA. I really was pleased with all of it. The days at sea were quite filled with enough activities to keep me occupied. We just got home after a wonderful 15-day crossing on the beautiful Celebrity Silhouette. It was our first cruise with Celebrity -- we are normally Holland America cruisers. Trans-Atlantic cruise was average. We booked an Aqua class cabin. We have cruised a number of times and did not find Celebrity to be any better than the average cruise line. In fact, some aspects were worse. A few examples are 1) wash cloths were basically rags. Some had holes and others shredded. Not very "luxurious". 2) In the past, water was free as you needed it. Celebrity needs to take a good look at their AnyTime dining. We made reservations months in advance and we were put in the same line as Walk Ins.
