Booked this cruise as we got a great deal on a Celebrity Suite and was looking forward to the WOW factor. It was the 12 night sailing from Rome to the Greek Islands and Israel in late October. The check in was very smooth and being in a higher level suite we were met at portside and escorted to the Michaels club to have a drink. This started of the cruise very well. Got to our room Suite 1110 ...

We love the ship. The Silhouette is spectacular. However, for this cruise, the service was very poor. (Except for our cabin attendant who was excellent!) The glasses and silverware were always a mess. The Captains Club events were a mess. The Captains Club host was impossible. We have been "Elite" Captains Club members for quite some time and this is a first to have a Captains Club host who ...

The guest performers were all British and did not rise to the level of American performers. The production shows were good but not exceptional. The food was good but nothing exceptional. The Lawn Grill restaurant did in fact provide for an outstanding experiece. All the employees were friendly and smiled at the guests which is what one would expect. Embarkation and disembarkation went very ...

Holy Lands/Israel cruise/there's nothing like Israel, history, culture, people

We really chose this cruise for 2 reasons: 1. it stayed a total of 3 days in Israel, rather than 2, as many others do ; 2. Celebrity does an excellent job of cultural/educational lectures on a daily basis. Both of the lectors were excellent and well-prepared. In addition, the shore excursion lectures were informative, helpful , and interesting, not just meant to sell us another excursion, as on ...

The ship was beautiful, all the crew were as nice as they could be. Everyone was very pleasant and tried to attend to our every need. Also, the ship was meticulously clean. They were constantly cleaning and the hand sanitizers were everywhere. The entertainment was great. We chose to upgrade to aqua blue class because one of our party had chosen that before and loved the special blu ...

We chose this cruise because I wanted to visit Israel and because we like the Solstice ships. We had a normal standard balcony room, perfectly fine, great view towards the rear of the ship and we were lucky to be on the side of the port most days when we docked so that was interesting. Our room attendant Gede was just the best, nothing was too much trouble, he was quiet, discrete and the room ...

Wonderful itinerary. This was our 4th cruise on the Silhouette and the experiences are consistently excellent. Entertainment and food was excellent. The food in the main dining room was so good that we decided to bypass the specialty restaurants. However, portions are very small. The lobster tail dinner consisted of one lobster tail. However, more were available if requested. Any time dining ...

We have sailed four times on the Celebrity Eclipse from Southampton, and have always enjoyed the experience. However, we decided that we would try a fly-cruise for the first time. This is a quantum leap for us, since I have MS and am reliant on an electric scooter to get around; I can walk only a few yards with assistance, and can't navigate stairs. So we booked a cruise on the Celebrity ...
