After being forced to have a drinks package at £47 pdpp(even though they claim the drinks were on them I know how much the price increased form Jan2017) the beer run out with 5 days to go.Pager at Blu every night so the extra cost was a joke. The ship was kept clean. No shuttles for the disabled even though I know the ports have them.(been before)Customer services just said get a taxi or WALK.I ...

We love the ship. The Silhouette is spectacular. However, for this cruise, the service was very poor. (Except for our cabin attendant who was excellent!) The glasses and silverware were always a mess. The Captains Club events were a mess. The Captains Club host was impossible. We have been "Elite" Captains Club members for quite some time and this is a first to have a Captains Club host who ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary, ships personell did an awesome job. We thought other than headliners Entertainment was lacking. A lot of Venues had nothing happening. Not enough era music for the people on board the ship. They had Big Band music which was great and drew a crowd but not enough space to dance. Leaving the ship was chaos, no direction, signs, or ship personell. To ...

14 day Mediteranean - No Isreal

This trip highlighted a 3 day stop in Israel. Headlines of violence caused Celebrity to cancel the Israeli stops. Arguably, this was a correct decision. But Israel has been in turmoil since 1948. A troubling issue was that it was a last minute decision - some didn't get the message until they were on the ship; others found out by cell phone message while at the airport. Instead of Israel Celebrity ...

As people had suggested that Celebrity were good we went on their Holy Land cruise. As a Christian I was looking forward to seeing Jerusalem and Galilee. I booked in Aqua class and a wheelchair accessible cabin, and informed my agents that I was a wheelchair user. I was told this was not a problem as the cruise was accessible. I tried to book excursions on line but could not. Imagine my distress ...

this is a mixed review, so i'd prefer to start with the positives. first, we met great people. from the folks we corresponded with on the rollcall on this website, to the people on the boat and some of the staffers, it was a wonderful and genuinely good time of fellowship and getting to know one another. we also met what appears to be clearly our new (now) lifelong friends, a couple from toronto ...

This was only the second cruise for this ship so when we boarded, we actually had a new ship smell. I was very excited after hearing so many great things about Celebrity on Cruise Critic and I expected this to surpass just about all of the previous lines that I had cruised with including Cunard and Holland America, but this was not the case. First of all, the good points were that the ...

We were on a charter of the ship for Atlantis Events August 1-10, 2011. We were so looking forward to this cruise and had VERY high expectations for the "fancy new ship" of the Celebrity fleet. While the ship is lovely. Had all that "new ship smell". Great art collection and all that stuff you expect from a Celebrity ship, overall my expectations were not exceeded.....in fact overall I ...
