Another excellent Celebrity Cruise
"This was my 8th cruise with Celebrity, and I think this cruise line gets it right: an excellent itinerary, a more than acceptable standard re dining, a good variety re entertainment (for both younger and older travellers - my personal favourite was the house band called The Seagulls), and the nicest employees in every department.I chose this cruise for the port- intensive itinerary...."Read More

This review reflects our experiences on our recent cruise, reflects our personal preferences, and reflects what we have come to expect based on more than 35 cruises. This cruise was overall a very pleasant experience and is getting close to the pre-covid experience. PRE-CRUISE: We drove to Ft. Lauderdale the day before the cruise and stayed at the Homewood Suites in Dania Beach ($269/night). ...

Great Ship With Fantastic Itinerary

We chose this cruise to tick off a few things on our bucket list. Acropolis, Olympia. The chance to visit Rhodes and return to Malta was a bonus. Returning to Reflection for a second time was a bonus as we previously really enjoyed the ship and its staff. Having sailed Celebrity 12 months ago, we did see a slight decline in choice MDR menus, also cheaper options for evening entertainment ...

This is our 4th cruise with Celebrity. We were disappointed. The personal service was lacking. It used to be that we felt pampered and built a relationship with our dinner crew. The seated dinner became boring. The food was mundane and mashed potatoes every night. No refills of wine or coffee. The sirloin New York was thin and always overcooked. It was almost like airline food! Our Anniversary ...

We chose this cruise as we had never been to the Greek Islands and the itinerary looked just what we wanted. We started off in Aqua Class as that's what we always book but when the opportunity came along to bid for an upgrade to a suite we did and surprise surprise we got upgraded to sunset suite. I looked at the reviews online which had a lot of negativity about this room but we went with an ...

Embarkation was SO quick, no queues - check in agent literally scanned our Xpress pass and we we were on our way. Took no more than 5 mins to get onboard from walking in terminal! Crew are absolutely amazing!! Whenever you go to any shoreside Hotel, Shop or any business you usually find at least one grumpy person - but not on Celebrity Reflection. Everyone we encountered were so warm, ...

We went with my daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate her 30th birthday. We had 2 balcony cabins which were adequate in size, quiet and comfortable. Boarding was hassle free and we found our cabins without a problem. Service by the staff was, as always, excellent but there was a palpable sense of stress as though the staff were having to work too hard. They seem to have to work 12 hours a day ...

We have taken many Celebrity cruises. I was looking for a cruise without many sea days and being end of season where I really wanted to go wasn’t available London Scotland Ireland so I guess I finally just went with this which wasn’t smart on my part! Been to Rome several times but this time it was so crowded wasn’t enjoyable. If you don’t have reservations for sights you can forget it!Everywhere ...

I chose this cruise for the port- intensive itinerary. And I like the Solstice- class ships…. I have nothing but praise for the officers, staff and crew….a genial captain in Captain Matt, a justifiably- popular and capable cruise director in Giuseppe, a hard- working group of chefs and waiters, and a terrific troupe of entertainers. Combine this with memorable sightseeing and it all made for ...

Looking to see Italy, Croatia,Greece so this itinerary was perfect. We enjoyed a few days pre sailing in Rome to get acclimated. The timing weather wise was perfect. The ports were all worthwhile although a fair amount of travel time once docked. The staff from Noel and Raul in the dining room to Nelson and Jennet serving wine, were all exceptional! The Martini Bar guys kept the energy up ...

Great food, poor bar service

As frequent cruisers, We chose this cruise because it visited some ports we’d never been to. We loved Dubrovnik, Corfu, Katakolon and Messina. Kotor was a lousy day with a long tender ride and a long wait to return to the ship. We found the quality of the food and food service excellent. Wonderful Indian food on the lunch buffet every day, great selection of starters and mains every night. ...
