We chose Celebrity as our past experiences have been good with the entire Royal Caribbean group, including Celebrity and Azamara. Sad to report that Celebrity standards gave fallen, quality of onboard staff seems to have deteriorated and clearly they need to be retrained.

This was our first 7 day cruise aboard Celebrity. We found that half way into the cruise it was all about how to get off the ship. It made our vacation feel shorter.
Embarking at Civitavecchia was not as smooth as I had experienced at other ports. Felt disorganized and there really was no advantage given to Concierge Class guests.

Michael's Club is only available to top level Captains Club and those in the top level Suites eg Royal Suite. It is not available to Concierge Class suite passengers.
We have dined in the Tuscan Grille which is excellent, quiet and relaxed. We tried Qsine but found it too quirky for our taste and the noise level so high we couldnt hear the waiter telling us about the meal.

The free use of the thallasotherapy pool and spas were great. Deck chair hogs were not.
Smoking was allowed on the far corner of the pool deck and the smell was disgusting. Had to hold my breath when I needed to pass through the area. Why not have smoking on an open deck where others do not have to inhale second hand smoke?
