Celebrity Suite experience not as Sweet any more

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We chose Celebrity as our past experiences have been good with the entire Royal Caribbean group, including Celebrity and Azamara. Sad to report that Celebrity standards gave fallen, quality of onboard staff seems to have deteriorated and clearly they need to be retrained. 1. Check in at cruise terminal in Civataveccia Rome was smooth and quick 2. Suites had not been properly checked - ...

Great Holiday - but . . . . .

Need to start this review by saying we had a great holiday, we travelled with friends, the literary was great and the weather fantastic. In our opinion there are lots of positives and we can only speak about our own experiences. We travelled using the Jet Sail offer - this we found to be excellent - we rocked up at Stansted parked the car and within no time we were sitting in a very comfortable ...

My wife and I made this cruise to get rest, and this is what we got but we have some comments about the trip The crew and the overall situation was wat we expected for a 4 star cruise but the dining situation was not something for a 4 star cruise ship it look more a standard meal on a ferry for truckdrivers than for people who made a cruise for a lot of money. several times we ask wat is ...

Old Ship, Sub Par Experience

This was our first 7 day cruise aboard Celebrity. We found that half way into the cruise it was all about how to get off the ship. It made our vacation feel shorter. Embarking at Civitavecchia was not as smooth as I had experienced at other ports. Felt disorganized and there really was no advantage given to Concierge Class guests. The rooms were typical cabins. Older furniture inside but ...

Michael's Club

Michael's Club is only available to top level Captains Club and those in the top level Suites eg Royal Suite. It is not available to Concierge Class suite passengers. We have dined in the Tuscan Grille which is excellent, quiet and relaxed. We tried Qsine but found it too quirky for our taste and the noise level so high we couldnt hear the waiter telling us about the meal. Our wine waiters ...

Service, food and ports of call were outstanding

Review for a Trans-Ocean Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

The free use of the thallasotherapy pool and spas were great. Deck chair hogs were not. Smoking was allowed on the far corner of the pool deck and the smell was disgusting. Had to hold my breath when I needed to pass through the area. Why not have smoking on an open deck where others do not have to inhale second hand smoke? Rude able-bodied passengers occupied the two tables set aside for ...

Repositioning cruise from Rome to Abu Dhabi

We were a family of 6 adults. This was my second celebrity cruise. We were in Aqua class. Disappointed in the cruise. The Suez Canal narrator did not have adequate microphone so he ended up speaking to people as they came up to him. Not at all like Panama Canal crossing on NCL. We used Aqua class and main dinning room menu- which was nice to have access to. Not as boring as repeats. The ...

We did noy stay in Rome before departure as we have visited a couple of times before in depth,so we went straight from the airport to the shipwe did not have a great start here as we were told in baggage reclaim to look out on the left hand side when exciting missed them they were behind a great big pillar we walked around the arrivals and went back to our starting point luckily for us we spotted ...

Wonderful intimate ship!

Review for a Asia Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

User Avatar

Celebrity is our cruise line of choice! We love Aqua Class staterooms and what comes with it ... especially dining in the Blu. The Persian Gardens on this ship is very small and not as open as on the Solstice Ships, but there for your use. We chose this particular cruise for the itinerary. It was a "repositioning" cruise so did not come with all the perks that other cruises do, but the price ...

Tired Aqua Class stateroom

The itinerary of this cruise is good, but affected by the closure of open decks in the hours of darkness for three nights while passing through the Gulf of Aden. The Blu restaurant exclusive to Aqua passengers was excellent entirely as expected, with an excellent maitre D. The buffet cafeteria standard of food was poor and bland. Often food was awkward to even reach due to the layout of ...
