We cruised on Celebrity Millenium 10+ years ago and still remember the outstanding experience. We anticipated the same high quality service level and entertainment existed today, alas not. The nightly shows in the theater were fair -- the ship's cast of singers (Broken Strings show) and show guests (We3Vocal, Divalution (Lauren Tidbit was the only good singer), Gid Pool). The ship's cast was ...

Interesting itinerary, familiar with Celebrity. Food was very good, as good as any cruise we've ever been on. Same for the service. Interesting topics covered by speakers included history of the Mediterranean, history of Rome, nautical history and terms, and Hollywood personalities. One of the showtime entertainers, a young woman violinist, was superb. Other showtime entertainers were ...

Needs more activities

The ship was beautiful, the staff amazing and I loved Rome and the ports we visited. But the seven days at sea were a bit boring. Not much to do during the day. Most of the talks were nothing but infomercials trying to sell services on the ship. Went to play bingo, but the cost was $39, $49 or $59, a bit steep. I should have looked into it more before I booked a transatlantic cruise. Will ...

This was our 3rd Transatlantic with Celebrity - but it may be our last . Celebrity now nickles and dimes for seemingly everything. Formerly free Zumba is now $13 per class ( that info is well hidden until you are aboard ship). Daily program is filled with "activities like 2 for 1 drink prices or slot pulls - those are not 'activities" For a 7 day at sea cruise there need to be more ...

We have cruise with celebrity 10 times. We always take the aqua class. so in some ways will become accustomed to a certain level of service..We have found-that over the years level of service and offerings have decreased in proportion to the amount of money that is charged.. There always seems to be new ways of nickel and diming What are the greatest disappointments this to note that the ...

The Celebrity Reflection is a very large ship - the captain called it the 'flagship' of the fleet. It is highly decorative and the cabins are well-appointed. It also had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The cost of the cruise, itself, was reasonable: but that's all that is: the advertising states that it is "luxury cruising" and the costs for everything on offer certainly meet ...

Wonderful Cruise with a Few Failures

This is our 41st cruise and our 2nd with Celebrity. The ship is beautiful and maintained superbly. Our suite was a corner suite on deck 8. Very large and well appointed. The only drawback here was a very large balcony that we could not use. We were told that due to the exhaust from the funnels there is constant black soot on all the aft balconies. And the staff told us it is impossible to keep ...

We booked this transatlantic cruise as our first experience of Celebrity who we were led to believe were a step up in quality from Royal Caribbean. We had an inside cabin on deck 7 as we don't believe in spending time in our cabin, instead preferring to use the ship to the full. As there were 10 sea days on the schedule, we expected Celebrity to have a packed itinerary for guests, but it ...

I have put a lot of thought into this post. I have traveled with two other cruise lines (one of them many times) so I can only compare Celebrity with those lines. It is a lovely ship. I truly believe the crew tries to do whatever they can to make you happy. The ship is spotless. I am stating what these other cruise lines have, but not the Reflection: 1. One of the other lines has many ...

We looked forward to our cruise on Celebrity Reflection after reading so many positive reviews! We were, unfortunately, disappointed on many levels. The décor of the ship didn't seem nautical at all. It felt like we were visiting a hotel in Las Vegas. It lacked distinctive decor which would help orient a passenger to Port and Starboard. Very few public rest rooms. We spent many days at sea, and the ...
