We choose the Edge because of the Greek Islands. Sounded great, but once there, everywhere was crowded. We thought by October most tourists would have been gone, but not the case.
As for the ship, very modern, seemed like lots of wasted space, should have at elevators better directions for finding your way around the ship.

Lovely ship, food was excellent in all areas. Did not try speciality restaurants.Staff all very friendly. Entertainment different to other ships but enjoyed them. Loved the rooftop garden with film in afternoon. Eden was our favourite bar for pre dinner drinks Oliver the bar attendant was great. Also loved breakfast outside of Oceanview Restaurant.
Shops way out of our price range.

I want to start this out by saying the ship is gorgeous and the staff is incredible. I appreciate everything Celebrity tried to do with this ship. To me, the ship lost some of it's charm though. The Edge is a fairly new ship trying to break the mould, but unfortunately it is a bit like Marmite, you etither love it or not! We are the not type. Overall lovely ship and itinerary, despite changes due to bad weather. However single cabin booked off plan with Celebrity 18 months ago did not indicate a 50% obstruction. Lifeboats situated all the way along single cabins on decks 6 and 7 port and starboard. Some have 0% obstruction and some 50%. Mine was the latter.
