We chose this cruise due to the ports (Rome, Crete, 3 days Israel, Mykonos, Athens , Naples) and because we liked our cruise on the Celebrity Silhouette in January. This was my 15 cruise (Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival, Holland America)and I believe the Constellation is my favorite ship so far. I enjoyed the easy layout and the general ambiance. It is not a party ship and in ...

This was our 26th cruise, so we speak from experience! We took the 11 night France, Spain, Italy cruise beginning and ending in Rome. The ship is smaller and very well maintained, meaning we were able to visit some of the smaller ports. New was the drink package offered...a third level, cheaper than classic and premium. Apparently only offered in the last few cruises. Not sure if they ...

We chose the cruise because of the itinerary but also because we prefer to cruise with Celebrity. This was our first ime on a Millenium Class ship having sailed on Solstice class many times. The public rooms and other areas on Constellation were beautifully maintained and had been refurbished recently re carpets soft furnishings etc. Our cabin was comfortable, spacious, had new carpets, ...

We chose this cruise for the unusual itinerary. Some reviews said the Constellation was tired and showing signs of wear, we didn't find this at all. The ship was beautifully kept and the cabins were spacious and light. We chose late dining and shared a table with some great people. The food was varied and excellent. We were well looked after by head waiter and sommelier. Eating later enabled ...

Well firstly I have to apologise as this review is being posted a year after we cruised on the Connie! Anyway I'm finally getting around to reviewing this wonderful ship so here we go! Embarkation was a breeze, we departed out of Civitavecchia (Rome) We headed straight for the Ocean View Bar and buffet while we waited for our luggage to arrive. Sail away was fantastic and there were many ...

Family cruise with 11 members, this cruise fit the bill for everyone's requirements. Ship is large but not huge. The food was excellent, we ate at the Oceanview Buffet and the San Marco Restaurant only. Didn't feel the need to spend more in the other restaurants. Tried the gym for yoga and Pilates, both good. The ship provided the mats, straps and blocks. Evening entertainment wasn't my ...

Great value for the money and the ports of call were what I was interested in. Service was excellent and all the crew exceptionally friendly. The galley tour was interesting, except you couldn't hear the chef leading the tour as he had no microphone and the kitchen is of course very loud. All the specialty restaurants were excellent, which included Tuscan Grill, Oceananic, and Sushi. There could ...

The embarkation went without any issues. The ship itself was clean and tidy, well equipped with good bars and restaurants although a refurb in certain areas would benefit the ship. The food selection was good and food quality excellent and if you did not like your selection there was no problem in changing it. We had the Classic drinks package for free but would probably look at upgrading to the ...

It was with trepidation after reading all the negative reviews about this ship, that we embarked in Rome. Whether we were just very lucky I don't know but I could not fault the food (and we do like good food) the staff were all polite and helpful. Our Stateroom Attendant Mario (7049) was the best we have ever had on 13 cruises. Joseph and Sue in the Dining Room amazing and also the Restaurant ...

First Time Cruiser

My wife and I were hesitant to go on a cruise given that I have bad motion sickness and we've read all the reviews on how cruise ships are not fun for young adults. I was completely wrong - Celebrity Constellation was fantastic in every aspect. There was not one thing that I would have wanted them to improve on except the gym (please add more free weights and a squat rack). Our cruise director, ...
