Let me start by saying the majority of the staff were great. I found some of the male help in the dining room did not give way to any females, even when they, the female, had the right of way. We went for this cruise for the itinerary. Had not sailed with Celebrity before but reviews were generally good. We were disappointed. Most cruise lines want to extract your cash but Celebrity take this to another level. Definitely not to the standard of Princess or Cunard.

We selected this cruise based on the interesting itinerary from Rome to Abu Dhabi, including a journey through the Suez Canal and a trip to Petra from Aqaba, Jordan. We selected this cruise because of the itinerary and ports of call. Going through the Suez Canal was one of the highlights of this trip, as was the visit to Petr in Jordan. There were 5 straight days at sea, but that was no problem since there was a wide variety of activities to choose from. We chose this cruise for its itinerary, which ended with the F1 . The check in was chaotic, but once on-board that was soon forgotten.
Our cabin was at the rear of the ship with a large balcony, this was ideal for our cruising through the Suez canal, offering panoramic views.
