Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Jewel of the Seas

2-5 Cruises • Age 60s

My wife and myself have just completed our second cruise with Royal Caribbean, This time on one of the smaller ships, it had good and bad points, The ship was very well run from the moment we arrived at Rome airport, RC staff took control of everything , luggage was taken and delivered to our cabin, transfers were on time and embarkation was smooth. The ship has some lovely areas lots of dark ...

Did not live up to Oceania hype and expectation

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Sirena

We are seasoned cruisers and chose this cruise for a convenient way to travel home from Rome after attending a wedding in Malta. Past Transatlantic experiences have been exemplary on Cunard. We cruised on the Marina last year and anticipated a similar positive experience on the Sirena. The ship is tired at best and in need of updates. Tiles surrounding the pool were missing and cracked. Oceania ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Left from Civitavecchia, Italy. After being dropped off by shuttle it was a treacherous walk from gate of Port Security with our heavy luggage to find information on how to get to the ship. Upon arrival by bus we were told we had to get tags and check our luggage in. We have always carried our luggage on all the other ships before so we were upset. Check-in was speedy and rooms were ready upon ...

Overall, great cruise with family

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Reflection

Overall, we enjoyed out trip on the Celebrity Reflection. We spanned many ages from age 10, my youngets, to 70s, my parents. Things I really liked: *LOVED the buffet food! In fact, ate in the buffet instead of seated dining most of the cruise. Found the waiters in the seated dining a bit too much (way over the top friendly, etc). and enjoyed the independence of the buffet. *Liked the ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Navigator of the Seas

6-10 Cruises • Age 70s

Our party of four left Heathrow at 06.45 bound for Rome airport aboard Alitalia as part of RCI's all inclusive price. At that time in the morning we were expecting to receive a moderate breakfast but no, we only got half a cup of coffee and a small packet of biscuits. Not off to a very good start. The clearance from Rome airport to the ship was very efficient and after collecting our cases they ...

Solstice Class ships make life easy for

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

My husband travels in a wheelchair and Solstice Class ships make life easy. We selected this cruise because we could see the Holy Land and the Pyramids on the same adventure. The rest was icing on the cake. We spent the night in Rome at the Hotel Cicerone, which is centrally located with opportunities for excursions on foot to virtually any of the landmarks except the Coliseum. The land ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Eurodam

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

It was another great cruise aboard Holland America. This time with a wonderful itinerary around Western Europe. The check-in was very easy. It took about 20 minutes if you used the internet to check-in. There was the usual obligatory photo before boarding with some back drop I didn't even notice. After that they had 2nd photo op with 2 show girls on either side of you. The only way you can get out ...

Nice but NOT that nice

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Royal Clipper

First Time Cruiser • Age 70s

Our 08 cruise to the Black Sea was not as much fun as previous trips and so when our niece announced he wedding in Croatia, we decided to see if we could cruise before the ceremony. We selected the cruise because the last port was close to our destination and we had never done the "sailing vessel" thing before. We liked the idea of only 200 guests. My observations are possibly tainted as I have ...

Carnival Liberty - Western Caribbean

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Liberty

First Time Cruiser • Age 20s

We arrived in Rome a day early, which I would suggest to anyone booking their own flights. We saved about $800 by booking our own air. Transfers to the airport are available through Carnival and Private Companies for about $60-100 per person. If you travel light you can take the train to the port, they leave every hour from Terminal Station, we paid 8 Eros for the trip. Arriving at the port city, ...
