WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

MSC said the ship was refurbished in 2023 and they must be talking about the exterior of the ship. The public stairs lot dated with the teal and chocolate motif. The cabins are either navy or bordello red. The furniture in the cabin is worn, sun bleached and dated, think 90’s. Dining options are limited. There is the main dining room offering a selection of reoccurring average to say the best ...

We chose this cruise for its itinerary. The ship was stopping in Egypt, Israel and ending in Istanbul Turkey. We were interested in seeing the Pyramids in Cairo and touring Jerusalem then spending some time in Istanbul at the end of it. Due to some very unfortunate circumstances we were unable to stop in Israel so we had an extra sea day. We covered 3 continents, Africa, Asia & Europe in this ...

Good points - The ship is fairly new and well appointed. - The service staff are very friendly and try very hard. - Food quality is good. The bad points - Organisation on the ship is sub standard. - The Lido kept some really strange hours - for example closing for diner at 8:30 pm which one would expect is peak time Really bad points - For the first half of the cruise ...

Nice Aging Cruise Line

I loved the staff, the service and honestly the maintenance of the ship is overall very good. I would give them 4.5 to 5 stars in most cases. The ship however is old from the perspective of activities and value. Activities are very limited compared to other vessels both in terms of physical offerings such as recreational opportunities but also in terms of creativity. Other ships have mini ...

Beware of this ship!!! My cruise began with a huge stain on the couch in our stateroom. I also got food poisoning and as a result I was unable to go on the tour we had scheduled for the next day. I requested a refund but they denied it. The service was sub par but they still charged us $32 per day for poor service. The crew was unable to help with basic questions. In the dining room I asked that ...

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Nieuw Statendam

Let me start by saying that the Nieuw Statendam is a beautiful ship with beautiful cabins and lovely employees. Unfortunately, that's about it as far as the advantages are concerned. Embarkation was badly organized in what could seem like a good organization: check people in in groups, give them group numbers and call them one after the other. And then send them all into the embarkation gateway ...

Balcony Cabin: I stayed in a balcony cabin on deck 8 aft. The cabin itself was a good size and had tons of storage including a double spread wardrobe, 6 draws, 2 bed side tables, under bed storage (for suitcases) and storage under the sink in the bathroom. There was a small 1 seater lounger and a stool underneath the vanity station. There was a hairdryer, a safe and a kettle in my cabin (I ...

Wonderful Riviera

We embarked in Marseille for a 10 day Med cruise followed by a 16 day Transatlantic . The ship was spotless , the attention to Covid issues was excellent and the 800 crew members were all friendly and solicitous. Caviar was sparse but foie gras and lobster was there in abundance. The entertainment was far superior to what we experienced on the Marina some years ago from Rome to Rio. We ...

The Good, The Bad and The ??

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Spirit

Almost a year before the cruise, we started researching what was available to visit countries that were a part of our ancient history. Time in Israel was a primary consideration. The initial 21 day Mediterranean cruise was our choice which we booked in February 2019 and booked our air-fare shortly after. And the dollar-coaster ride began. Between February and July there were three price ...
