Talent312 - Hang in there. I don't think that there is anyway that Canada will open their ports before July. I mean I don't have a crystal ball but I don't think it will happen. I am sure that all of the cruise lines are just extremely overwhelmed right now. Although our cruise is cancelled there is rumor that the FCC won't come through for 30 - 90 days after your embarkation date. I hope that isn't true but we are just going to use it on another cruise in the future. Just not sure where or when. We have been looking at Norway.

I'm visiting from the 5/23 roll call. I hope no one minds, too much.
First, congrats on finally getting cancelled. We're still waiting.
Some suggested they might rerouting us, but I hope they don't.
We plan to take the FCC as we intend to cruise somewhere sometime

Trippy13 - I hope that your friends are okay. I'm sure that has to be very concerning.
We haven't really decided but will probably take the FCC and do another cruise to somewhere else … sometime in the future … even though the future is uncertain. We just love to cruise although most or our family is all having second thoughts about it.

Not sure which option we will take at the moment. We only booked this cruise the end of January when our plans changed and we had to cancel our April around Japan cruise due to our daughter's Spring graduation which, of course, has been cancelled. I think we will take Option #1 and try for the Japan cruise 2021.
It is of concern as to when this horrible virus is contained and life returns to some sort of normality. We currently have a friend on the Zaandam so have been watching all updates.
Hope all stay well....

Well, it's official, our cruise has been cancelled. The two options offered seem to be the same as offered to those cancelled during the first 30 day pause. We haven't made a decision yet. Has anyone else?
