do you know where that policy is ?  via your travel agent, or somewhere on HAL website ?    --thanks !

Our PCC (Personal Cruise Consultant) at HAL knew about it and set it in motion.

FWIW, they have moved our OBC to the new booking, but have not yet credited our payment to the new booking.  So, they appear to be half-done.

We are booking the 2021 version of this cruise using a Holland America policy that applies 2020 rates to 2021 cruises and allows us to keep our OBC and other perks.  We are also upgrading to a Neptune Suite, so it isn't a like to like.  The math shows this is better approach  than the 125% FCC.  We booked through our PCC and it is now in the hands of another department.  The completed transaction should be available for review and payments by this coming Friday.

    HAL's website says:

"Holland America Line is aware of the recommendation by the

to  extend their previously announced “No Sail Order” for cruises...

We are assessing this against our most recent planning and will be

sharing more specific details next week."

The fools call it a "recommendation." No, it was an order.
Other cruise lines have already bit the bullet, so this is pathetic.

Like a lot of the posters here, I am experiencing "cruise withdrawl". This is the third HAL sailing I've been booked on that has (or will be) cancelled by the line.

Having said that.....until we have a good history of testing, and more importantly, treating the Coronavirus, we all need to stay off the ships, for our own health, for our fellow travelers health, and for the health of the hard working crew. No dream trip is worth a ventilator experience or worse.

That's my two cents. Please stay healthy everyone.
