    We received refunds for some of our shore excursions.

    To use this logic, one would think that the cruises that were "in progress' would be getting theirs before all others.  Well, we were on the world cruise and are still waiting for our refund along with this one for the VOV.  I'm not holding my breath on the VOV coming anytime soon. 😔

    We cancelled on March 16th through our travel agent. We were told the same thing as you and we are 4 star mariners as well.  We once again called the travel agency on May 18th to find out why we hadn't received our refund.  The agent called Holland.  She was told that Holland's personnel are working remotely and that they are issuing refunds in order of departure date of the cruise.  Our agent said that she thought Holland was still working on April refunds.  All she could tell us is that we are in the queue for a refund but that they cannot give a date to expect to receive said refund.  

     

    In the meantime, we had taken out travel insurance (not from Holland) with an AIG affiliate and asked them for a refund since we cancelled before the final payment date.  They will not refund the hefty premium but they gave us a voucher that can be applied to the premium of a future vacation provided it happens prior to May 2022.  

     

    Hope some of the rest of you are having better luck getting your refunds.

    OK...our final was not due until today. A coupla weeks ago I told my TA "NO WAY". Nothing from Seattle. For any of our cruises that are/were booked. Looking at alternatives. Karen says that she won't fly anywhere, so we gotta go with Tampa, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Port Canaveral or Jacksonville. We live in Carnival country. This cruise was to avoid the heat of Florida in the summer. October is our anniversary. We might have to postpone the celebration, scratch that cruise. Anyone willing to host a party for our anniversary? I'll bring some beverages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
