Today is the day we should have been flying to San Francisco to start our Holiday.  We had 4 Nights in San Francisco Pre-Cruise.  Still waiting for Princess to refund money back to Travel Agent.  Also still waiting for Princess to refund us our Pre-Paid Shore excursions.  Future Cruise Credits also have not come through.  We cancelled on March 16th.  So we want to book another Cruise but will not be booking until we receive our refunds.  Email received from Princess today:

We know you were as disappointed as we were about your Alaska holiday being cancelled, and we want to make it up to you with this exclusive offer. Rebook on select 2021 Alaska cruises or cruisetours  by June 7, 2020, and enjoy $300 onboard spending money* per stateroom.

And there it is. Just got the email from Princess announcing the cancellation of all cruises through June 30th. 125% FCC is what they're offering, or a full refund. We'll be rebooking this cruise on the Ruby Princess for June 20, 2021. Guess I'll have to figure out what I'm going to do for a vacation this year.

I, too, had read in one of the cruise rooms in Facebook that there would be an announcement today, Tuesday, April 14. Nothing so far on the website has been posted.

From what I heard, they're supposed to make an announcement on the 14th. I already saw a news article stating that all Carnival owned lines would be cancelled through June 26. My TA is getting ready to book us on this one again in June or July 2021. Just waiting on final word on what Princess will be doing for those that are still booked on this one. Disappointing, but they've gotta do what they've gotta do.

I don’t know why Princess cruises don’t make announcement about cancel the Alaska sailing in May. There will be another Webinar on April 15, will see what they have to say.
