After checking Regent website, I find that excursions for this cruise will be available to book on June 8, 2019.

Hello everyone. Glad to see there is some activity on this roll call. We have cruised many times, but are new to Regent. Looking forward to this itinerary. Many times to Hawaii, but first time to Polynesia. Thanks for the post about the excursions, we were not notified by Regent.

Some of the excursions are on the website now.  We have made some selections.  The ship does not offer an excursion in Fakarava and only one excursion in nukuhiva.  We are doing the December 23 cruise also and there is no excursion on the turn around day.

This will be our first time on Regent after more than 100 cruises.  Looking forward to the experience.  Please join the roll call and welcome any comments on things we should know about the ship or itinerary.

You should not be sorry at all. Quite frankly I'm surprised it took you as long as it did to try these folks.  they are the greatest. Not totally without some problems from time to time but really a great cruise line.

We are getting our own flights, the advantage is transfers, but the airport in PPT is very close to the cruise port, taxi heads straight to the port, as a transfer waits for everyone to fill a bus, and everyone is queuing up to check in at the same time.

I agree with this 100% it can be a pain to use the transfer you have to wait for others and arrive in a group which can make for slowing down the whole processor getting signed in either on the ship or even in the hotel. Find another couple to share the cab ride if it's necessary to save a few dollars.
