Tricia yes that is fact.   Vitamins are not a problem.   I am on a several prescriptions and I take them in the boxes and I take a doctors medical history report, and I have never been questioned.  Saying that... if there was a day I didnt take the boxes that would probably be the day that would be questioned.

.. I would certainly follow the customs requirements if you are on any opioid drugs.

Thank you although was hoping for a different answer 🙂

Question for the Aussies here or those who've travelled to Australia before.  I've read that ALL YOUR MEDICINE needs to be in the original containers when you go through customs.  As you can imagine, many of us have lots of medicine including vitamins, etc.  Is this true?  Do we really need to lug all our boxes and containers around?  I also read that we need a full list of medicine and doctor's note for customs.  That's no problem.  My problem is that I like to set up my pills and vitamins to take daily.

Does anyone know for sure if we REALLY need to lug around all our containers?

    Thanks very much!

Thank you and Ditto the EFS have done a spectacular job! With the exception of terrible air quality and smoke  Canberra has faired well; our thoughts are with the South Coast and poor people who had a devastating Christmas and New Year! Look forward to meeting everyone at the Meet and Greet.

Cheers Kerry and Strephen (aka Cindysea)
