We are from Alaska, spending a few days in the Keys before joining the cruise on Sunday!

    Hi everyone,

We are Mike and Carol from Minnesota and will be on the Regal with you.  We cancelled a 14 day sailing on Caribbean Princess and selected this as the second leg of a B2B.  Our favorite part of cruising is the time at sea.  Sailing back to Fort Lauderdale to begin the second leg is preferable to being in port at some islands that we've been to before and don't care to visit again.  We haven't been on the Regal but were on the Royal a few years ago.  The buffet on the Royal was much better than some of the dining rooms we've encountered on other ships.  I guess that means the food is another favorite part of cruising!!!

Maybe you better go buy a lottery ticket! LOL!!!  You just hit a home run.  Caribbean Princess  has just turned around heading back to Florida early as 300 people sick with Noro Virus.  So....good you switched ships.

I read that Port Everglades is using facial recognition for when we come back into FLL port.   Cape Liberty in NJ also uses this technology, and when we came back in November on Anthem of the Seas, we were on our way in probably 3 seconds.  It was great.

Printed our luggage tags and a few other docs.  Think I'll start to put stuff in a suitcase over the weekend.
