I waited until Cunard cancelled, then my TA confirmed that Cunard got my request for the $$ refund. I haven't heard anything and I had paid in full with airfare for 3 as well booked through Cunard. I have a feeling this is going to take awhile.
My credit card was refunded and I then asked the bank to issue me a check. They were more than happy to do that and I actually think it’s in today’s mail.
One thing I did learn from all of my phone calls is tell the rep that you want them to send an email to their manager/supervisor regarding your refund. I was told that once the manager receives the email it puts you in the front of the line for refunds. I called two days in a row telling the reps I spoke to to do just that and the refund came almost immediately. Not sure they finally did it that quickly since I reminded them I am a ta. Everyone waiting should try this approach it might help.
