Hi , we were only going across to NY but then we had plans on travelling to Albany , hiring a car visiting Niagara and travelling back from Toronto. Took the decision to transfer the booking to next year so now we are booked for crossing July 24th to 1/8 . Was so looking forward to this . Stay safe everyone x

We were planning a three leg trip, two legs prior and this cruise, but with everything going on the other two legs have already been cancelled.  It doesn't make a lot of sense to fly over just for the return cruise so we're cancelling our QM2 trip.   Hopefully we will be able to sale sometime in the future.

For anyone still planning on sailing, enjoy.

Hi!  I'm Kimberly and I will be doing the return crossing.  I will cross first on the June 14th sailing, spend two months in Europe (mostly studying in Spain as I am working on my master degree), and return home on this crossing.  I'm happy to see I won't be the only person going solo!

Hi Everyone, when  we last travelled on QM2 to NY in 2017 . People on the roll call arranged to meet in the Commodore club on a specific day and time . Great fun getting to know fellow travellers . Perhaps we can arrange something like this again nearer the time . Thoughts ?

My wife doesn't participate in Cruise Critic or she would say this herself. First of all, don't fret about clothes. The dress code is explained on Cunard's site - if they haven't messed that up like they have the Voyage Personaliser.

Regarding the first segment (14 days, NY to So'ton) there was a similar crossing this year on the QE. There were four formal/gala nights. For the return classic seven-night crossing there should be three gala nights unless Cunard "dumbs down" the dress standards as they are doing in other areas.

Regardless of the number of days on the ship, for the gala nights my good lady brings two long dresses (not elaborate gowns, but simple dresses which are easy to pack) and one cocktail dress. A shawl is a convenient accessory. A variety of less formal clothing is taken for the so-called "smart" nights.

This is our 2nd time and having spoken to Cunard I understand that 15/8 is gala eve black and white theme. 17/8 gala eve and 19/8 masquerade ball . Looking forward to dressing up .
